"Tips"

I've generally wanted to begin this thread for the reason that we can give members here tips. Not the usual," U gets 2 use this gun.its awsom." No, I want to give members a more logical and more "useful" information source. These "tips" are more directed towards the game's players and how most will likely act. An example of such would be:

-Pixel Gun servers have an odd sense of irony to them. Opening or joining a server labeled "No killing" in hopes of luring or finding weak and naive players will tend to get you the complete opposite.

Cool

Cool idea! I don't have any tips but you are right about the no killing servers.

I'm surprised I didn't start something like this sooner.

We have a Wiki up for game information, but we have no real multiplayer information (due to the different topics both sources involve). Allow me to add some:

-When playing Co-Op in Parkour City, you generally want to be on the Red team. The Red team can spawn in a bricked building that grants easy camping access to the Blue team's roof-top spawn point, and building spawn point. This allows for some Red team players to camp in the structure, easily picking off players one by one. If however you wind up on the Blue team, it's best to leave your spawn point ASAP, otherwise you will risk being spawn killed repetitively.

-There is a stairway glitch on Mafia Mansion. It can be achieved by having your character walk with half of their body on the steps, and half off. Walk upwards until you can no longer climb up (in which you will briefly be stuck). It takes a few tries to get it, but when you do, your player will drop down with half their body in the wall. Simply move into the wall, and you will have full access under the house. Keep in mind, this can only work on the set of stairs to the left when you enter the house.

-By using the Rocket Jump technique, players can propel themselves higher upwards, allowing for them to achieve great heights in maps. This technique works in every map, and can only be performed with the Anti-Gravity Blaster, Apocalypse 3000, Nuclear Launcher, Armageddon, Grenade Launcher, and the Firestorm G2.

Yes.I believe the the stair glitch Goldman27 is referring to can bee achieved by counting the steps of the staircase. I think I remember that the actual glitch itself happens in the middle of crossing from one edge of a step to the next. For example, get to the left edge of the third step. Your view of the edge should be a straight line. Then, cross to the fourth step while still having the edge in the view indicated. It sounds more complex than it actually is. Try performing it on Local Death match.

Here's another "tip"

Don't bother counting the number of people who try to impersonate other people.Chanes are, the 7 Calobi, Skydoesminecraft, and Deadlox named players in the server are not the real deal. Best to shoot, win, and move on. No questions asked.

Ah yes, the impersonators. Never believed them for a minute.

Another "tip", be weary of players with the words "Hot", "sexxy", or "***" in their name. They are most likely players looking for a date, or a boyfriend/girlfriend. It would be wise to not comply and instead shoot them regardless of their advances.

I won't lie, here's one that I learned through experiences.

-Pixel Gun 3D isn't a movie. Underdogs don't exist. If you get mad because you lost against a team of level 13s, don't blame anyone but yourself. They just show that practice makes perfect.

How about another:

The most successful players test out new levels before actually playing. Figuring out spawn point locations will spend 5-10 minutes, the knowledge from this during matches is priceless. The average player just runs up and starts shooting carelessly.

True true, though for me I just run-n'-gun while picking up this info.

Another tip: it's also best to remember ammo/heart pickup locations in a map as well. That way if you're low on ammo or health, you know where to find it.

Spot on. Learning the ammo and health pick-ups help a tremendous bit. Keep this tip in mind when you get the 6.0 update. The new level will push your conserving ammo skills to the maximum heights.

I'm thinking if you want, I could start creating an official "Tips" thread. It would list all of these tips and more in it, and the more people that submit them, I would add them to my post.

Unless you want to do that instead, in which case be my guest.

I feel like that could work out. Go ahead with your plan, but please state in the beginning of the thread that " No tips directed towards use of a specific gun. Abilities of guns or tips towards a group of guns may be permitted if valid enough. "
