Suggestions that could make PG3D a blast!

Ok. So I have a few suggestions which Rilisoft could add in future updates for PG3D.

3rd person view: Bored of 1st person view? This feature would make things more comfortable for some players.

More teams in Team Deathmatch: Rather than just having a red and blue team, there could be more teams like green, orange, purple, or whatever. Basically, you could have 3 or 4 teams against each other rather than just having 2.

XXXX(and so on) larger maps: To add more depth and atmosphere, they could add XXXX(and so on) larger maps.

Vehicles: Speaking of even bigger maps, they could also fit in vehicles to these maps. You could have vehicles that operate either on land, sea, or air. Each vehicle will have it's own stats concerning speed, acceleration, weight, etc. The types of vehicles could be tanks, cars, bikes, planes, boats, etc. This feature would be available in any game-mode, but would only appear in XXXX larger maps that I had explained about.

Team Deathmatch feature - destroy the base: For this feature, each team has their own base to defend, and at the same time having to destroy their opponent's base. If one team's base gets destroyed, they lose. If one team manages to destroy their opponent's base, they win. To destroy a base, you basically have to keep firing it with strong firepower, or (even riskier) get inside the base and destroy the core of the base, making it gain more damage easily than firing at it normally. However, this feature would only operate in XXXX larger maps that I had explained about.

Bullet projectiles: You know how you see missiles, plazma, cannon balls, etc. projectiles blasting off from certain types of weapons. They could do the same with every gun that fires bullets. Except of course they would move at faster speeds. You'd get different bullet animations from certain types of guns. For example, you 'd see scattered bullets from a shotgun blasting off.

Sticky boots (couldn't think of a better name): For these boots you'd be able to walk on walls and ceilings by just simply walking towards them. Though you'd still be limited to certain parts of the map that will prevent you from leaving the map. Of course you wouldn't be able to walk on invisible walls that contain you in the map.

Being able to use weapons that are only available in the campaign in multiplayer: It would be awesome if you could use the UZI-UZI, AK-48, Army Rifle, and other weapons that you can only use in the campaign currently in multiplayer.

What ideas do you have for future updates? Feel free to post them here. I'd like to know what suggestions you guys have in mind for PG3D. :smile:

One thing I would love to see would be dedicated servers. I know that's pretty much what the Random Server's are for, but it would be nice for players to be able to make their own dedicated servers. In this way, the player can leave it empty, and it'll still be up. It would create a forum of "server advertising" I suppose, but if they included a server manager in the game for this, the admin could rename the server, modify player settings, and perhaps if possible, take existing friends list players and grant them the ability to boot players from a server.

I think this would also give structure to clans in-game, as they could permit clan members to be "Moderators" of servers. Who knows?

Granted of course, this feature would have to be limited. Perhaps Rilisoft could put up an in-app purchase feature for the dedicated server option. Say, $0.99 for 2 weeks, $1.99 for a month, $4.99 for 6 months, and $15.99 for a year? - Goldman27

Custom rule servers so I can have melee weapons battles
More survival maps, finish the campaign, Halo smg, a map based on complex from 007 Golden Eye, and a ww2 weapons pack. - 2_dope

1)Publicization
2)Upgrades
3)Chat
4)Make groups ONLINE (in the game)
5)Get to use vehicles :tongueout:
6)Grenades,Flashbangs,Etc
7)Better Music
8)Run,Crouch and Walk Options
9)I would personally ask the UPDATE ON iOS!!!

Add animations when your enemy is killed depending on your weapon. Example: Using the ultimate headhunter on your enemy's head the enemy's head pops off? Just an idea :3 - Plazma

Though animations for certain deaths would be nice. It would be epic if we could one-hit kill people with Melee weapons like in Halo. :grin: - Goldman27

What I'd really like to see is people catching on fire and taking periodic damage if they get hit by the flamethrower. That would make my day, for sure! - Brooke

I was thinking to make the game more like a fps. So why not add attachments? For a example the ultimate head hunter could have a attachment where the scope aims better or a bigger mag. Also a other example: The rambo's rifle could have a laser to aim a bit better. Or a grenade launcher that can go with it. NOTE:These attachments would have to cost coins.:smile: - Plazma

Here are some of my ideas:



    • Maps in offline mode: Basically the ability to scour all multiplayer maps in offline mode.
    • Crouch ability: Like an extra button or command to be able to crouch.
    • Kill Stats: I enjoy stats but basically id like to see some stats like kills, death, deaths/match, shooting accuracy.
    • Custom Skin Market: Like a marketplace for buying/selling custom skins. In order to not be exploited skins must not be able to be altered and must have a max available sale price. - ...

Hmm they should add vote-kick system which players need to vote at the player if will kick him or not for a reason like dating or hacking
They should add more effects like shadow effects from players and more.
 
I agree with a user-based vote-kick system, however it may be abused by dating players or others. But, everything in video games has a pro and con nowadays. :tongueout:

Still, I agree with the idea.

I've worked with several online games (namely CrossFire / Blackshot SG / Combat Arms) and I can tell you that you'll be regretting having a kick system around. Intellectually impaired players (there are many) will abuse the system to kick a *usually skillful* player to achieve victory and those who benefit having a cheater on their team won't kick, plus dating isn't a big deal (amongst regular players, not us forumers) in Pixel Gun 3D.

Hackers (personally, I deem this term wrong since all "hackers" in the game are just script kiddies leeching off a trainer exploit, so hereafter, "cheaters"), aren't a majority in the game. They're relatively little and interestingly, they can't aim for crap, if at all. A kick system is only necessary if cheaters are becoming a majority and Alex Krasnov patches exploits fairly quickly, so I don't see why we should bother adding a kick system.

As for my suggestion: Give Alex Krasnov an electric shock every 3 hours the iOS version of Pixel Gun isn't being updated at the same speed as the Android version, each electric shock must be stronger than the latter.

The mode team nada (no) you will regret it if its there trust me you dont need explaination

Spawn campers and OP weapons aren't exactly quite a big issue, however they are prevalent. Here's how we solve it:

Spawn campers: There's no way around it. Guaranteed, EVERY FPS game that has a regulated spawn point system, there will be campers around, always. What could help though is a temporary spawn invincibility, this would prevent players from being spawn killed by rockets or other weapons.

OP weapons: It's simple, we nerf the OP weapons. (I guarantee you someone will make a meme out of this one :tongueout:)
 
I agree with Ev actually. Multiple factions involved for a battle is incredibly tedious, and would make it all the more difficult for there to be a true winner amongst several groups. On top of that, not all servers can handle 24 players. Blitz Brigade alone has 12 player servers at max, and that's the biggest I've seen for a multiplayer FPS game on iOS/Android. Anything past 12 would be bound to get laggy, take it from a PC gamer who's played in 32 player servers, there's always one guy with such a high ping that causes the entire server to lag.

Also, to add with Hero, the vote-kick can be heavily abused in servers. I've played some PC games with the same option, and lots of players always abuse it in local servers, sometimes even the public servers with plugins it happens.

True, I suppose a spawn place the enemy can't enter would be good though.
