How to design skins like a pro 8 steps

Its kind sad to see custom skins not looking bad by making the eyes too big or just too colorful so this 8 steps on how to design skins Pixel Gun and In Minecraft
1. Know the insides and out of where the face is a gonna go and not wasting time making your face but you got it into the wrong design section
2. Get inspired by other skins google it whatever just dont copy it exactly especially for skins that are animated into a certain position they hide the skin's bad sides and convincing you to try it, wasting your time in the process
3. Get color wise bright coloured skins are great at daylight and night but if your in Assault Games and Pvp like Pixel Gun you can be easily spotted while camping
4. Get your cape involved some people do make great capes and say they make like a batman skin they also get a batman cape likewise with superman BUT at the same time never be lazy and think that you don't have to do the back of your skin because your cape will cover it because if you jump of a building the cape will go up while you go down and others will see the white on your back
5. Detail Detail Detail don't use just plain black on your pants or hair put shades of really dark grey on it but don't shade over dark gray over gray
6. Don't worry about the arms too much only for pixel gun because the arms carry the gun and the gun hides some of your arms
7. Making skins is time consuming so have plenty of time and remember to save
8. Don't let people bully you about your skin its a skin not a personality . like and enjoy your skin if somebody checks/review your skin by a friend good! even if he said its bad that means you need to spend more time and edit your skin out.

Congratulation now your designing like a pro!

My job here is done.

Everyone who is discussing about how "pro" you are in a "How to design skins!" thread with using the pleb-tier Headhunter (Ho-ho-ho, a Guerrilla Rifle's life for me!) get back on the main topic or the Patron Saint of PG3D Sniping will haunt you in your sleep.

Why do all threads go off-topic after like 3 posts?

Here's the thing, if you comment about threads going off-topic, you're also bringing the thread to go off-topic as well, as you are enticing some members to go into a debate or agreement with you that said thread is going off-topic. Now, get on topic. :tongueout:

I just sketch out the character I'm making the skin for and try and pixilate it accordingly.
Tip: Never add mouths. NEVER ADD MOUTHS. They only look like thick un-mouths.

Thats quick scoping, back to topic. THANKYOU FOR MAKING A THREAD ON HOW TO MAKE SKINS LIKE I DO
Oh noes...... didn't Brooke just say to stay on topic?trying to keep on topic, *ahem,* I enjoy your tutorial! I will use it hopefully to fabulize my skins in the future!

All I do is this:
1. Apply base colors
2. Draw dark lines
3. Shade around dark lines
4. Decide whether darker lines should be lighter/darker and shade/lighten them
5. Look over the skin to make sure I didn't miss any spots, didn't make any errors, or if I need to fix something before saving it to my skin collection.
