Why Devs Why?!?!?!?!?!?!????

I've been playing this game for a little over a week and quickly took a liking to deadly games mode. Today, I see that a new update has been released and I download it. I try going into deadly games but now you have to pay tickets!?!?!?
I didn't really mind the tickets system or the new modes but why make Deadly Games a "mini- game"? In the first match I tried to rocket jump and the rocket went right through the ground and nothing happened so I got caught and killed because of it. I really prefer the old update

I don't understand why they would do this though? What's the point of tickets and why would you put them in a game mode?

What genre even is PG3D anymore, "Pay2Win Shooter with Dating Simulator and MiniGames"? Whatever happened to the FPS days
