so e3 happened

i never thought i would say ubisoft wins e3 but they pulled the rabbit out of the goddamn hat

my top 3 games
1) beyond good and evil 2 (ubisoft)
2) anthem (ea)
3) wolfenstein ii (bethesda)

honourable mentions:
METROID PRIME 4 (cool but we know nothing about it apart from that it exists)
SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS REMASTERED (sotc finally gets the graphics it so deserves)
MARIO ODYESSEY AND DESTINY 2 (both really good looking but we already knew loads about both of them)
EVIL WITHIN 2 (looks good but im too scared to play it)


im actually interested to see what other people think and talking to them about it so reply to this thread and let me know :>

Evil Within and Shadow of the Colossus are my favorite games glad that they made another.

I heard that Microsoft has won it from Sony, as its reason to be won, because that Microsoft has NOW officially announced that any of Original Xbox games are now backward compatibility to Xbox One. You know that Sony has refused to do that so.
Again... Microsoft has created a new console which is Xbox One X.

Given how I incurred maximum bandwidth use JUST before E3, my view of E3 has been limited to specifically what interests me:

-Star Wars Battlefront II (that moment when you wish you could trade in the first one but can't because it was digitally downloaded)
-Gran Turismo Sport (finally to be released in Fall 2017, don't mess with me Polyphony Digital)
-Project Cars 2
-Forza Motorsport 7 (looks nice, I'll probably get it for PC though, if I ever get enough courage/money to buy it off Microsoft Store)
-Need For Speed Payback (I know it was from EA's pre-E3 show, but I still count it as part of E3)
-The Crew 2 (GTA V with vehicles only)

The X will be useless when it comes out. The huge majority of the population still don't have a TV powerful enough to run 4K, leaving the option useless. Although, I am hoping that this will be an Xbox with many more new features, rather than just a 4K Xbox One.

So true. It's also been said the Xbox One X will be the most expensive console on the market at release, assuming it does retail for the $500USD price tag. But then you factor in retailer markup/taxes, it could easily breach $550-$600USD. For the same price you could have a fairly decent PC running a GTX 1060 with more power (thought less VRAM), than an Xbox One X.
 
i think the Xbox one X is more of a marketing thing to compete with the PS
in case you didn't notice the biggest thing that microsoft hyped people about is 4K and better graphics...that's not what a console should be IMO
 
Anthem really got my attention in this year's E3, the open-world and exploration side of it looked really slick. It reminded me of a mix between Mass Effect and Destiny.

As for the XBox One X, it's definitely been added as an answer to PlayStation 4 Pro, in my opinion. Not worth a buy though, there's not as many games out on XBox as compared to PlayStation's 3200 games (iirc) not to mention not everyone posseses displays to make use of the 4K they're trying to sell.
 
Anyone feel as if BioWare played their A game with Anthem, which is why Mass Effect Andromeda turned out so unpolished?
