Prototype or Anti-Hero Rifle?

I see the obvious difference that the Prototype cost coins and the Anti-Hero cost gems, but which one is really better? I've heard for a long time that the Prototype is really good and alot of people recommend it, but the Anti-Hero looks to have better stats. So which one should I get?

If you have the gems go for the anti hero rifle, keep in mind it's gonna cost another 100-150 to upgrade it too. Can't remember exactly how much it was

Anti-Hero is better by far(Ur question was what's better not what's best for the price). It is superior to the prototype in every area apart from reload which is only a 3 difference which doesn't matter. But the prototype has much better value because of it's cheap price and upgrades. Anti-hero is great if you have the gems, but prototype gets bang for ur buck.

Prototype is better because it higher fire rate and it cost coin
Railgun is pretty good too
