Interesting tastes, I recommend Trigun for another action-packed anime. If you want to get into the MMO stuff, definitely get into SAO now (since the second season starts soon), watch some Log Horizon, and .hack//SIGN. Those are good MMORPG-style animes I find.

Yeah, it's a pretty funny episode, but don't worry, it has it's serious and action-intense moments.

Recently watched Basket Army, and I must say it sucks. It's 4 episodes at around 3-7 minutes, and there's no explanation as to why the story is where it's at. it's more or less a bunch of high school kids with guns, and there's almost no fighting involved. Honestly, the story is so messed up I don't even know what's happening.
I also got up to speed with Initital D though, it's a pretty good street racing anime (if you have a liking towards street racing, or sports cars in general). I'd only recommend it though if you like street racing, or have a liking to sports cars from the year models of 1998-2006 (European exotics not included).
SAO II should hopefully be airing soon, so I'm looking forward to that!

There's a buttload of seasons and OVAs to it. Here's how to watch it, in order (my opinion):
Initial D: First Stage (26 episodes)
Initial D: Second Stage (13 episodes)
Initial D: Third Stage (film)
Initital D: Extra Stage (OVA)
Initital D: Fourth Stage (24 episodes)
Initital D: Fifth Stage (14 episodes)
Initital D: Final Stage (still ongoing)
There's also Extra Stage 2 and the Battle Stage OVAs, but I'd recommend not watching them, as they add very little (actually none) to the main plot. Extra Stage 2 dives deeper into what the 1st Extra Stage's story was, and the Battle Stages are just music videos.
