Incredibly, you are literally 1 day away from that becoming a necro-post.
Anyways, as far as reverting back to 8.0.0, my only guess for Android would be trying to find an 8.0.0 APK file to use, in place of the current PG3D version. However, APKs can somtimes be buggy/illegal, so I'd rather you check with some other 'Droids on the forum and see what they say.

Actually the tricks I do are:
1. Go to campaign and do farm. Then complete it, then try again for some times. This will give you 5 XP every time.
2. Survival is only for emergencies (in need of coins, etc)
3. Ranking up is Level 1-5: 5
Level 6-11: 30
Level 12: 40
4. I usually go to multiplayer everytime. This is my way of farming coins and xp.
5. Don't waste your money on guns, gear, etc. This is your way to the road of the weapon you wanted.
6. Upgrade your guns often. If you do, your chances of winning #4 is greatly increased.
7. The reason why 8.0.0 was released is to maintain game balance.
(Survival: 10,000 coins for 10 coins greatly spoils the balance.)
(Campaign coins for spamming also spoils the balance.)
(Coins shop's greatest amount of money 6000 was reduced to 2000, so that it's not a 1 buy instant win.)
(Everything in #7 are examples of coin spam.)
