When you get hurt by another player and decide to kill yourself,should it count as a kill 2 them?

When somebody does a suicide (in the game) just to avoid being killed by an enemy play? Let's say you body shot somebody withthe prototype,and then you decided to finish him/her with the freeze ray or some past rate of fire gun. But before you can even switch to your weapon,the target decided to kill themselves by either throwing a grenade or using an area damage weapon.

Now I CAN UNDERSTAND when you accidentally blow yourself up or somehow manage to kill yourself.

There's been many times where I coukd be walking with my solar power canon,tehn somebody pops out of a corner,and I manage to hit them...but it also takes me out.

Or when you do hit somebody with an area damage weapon and you go flying off the map. Or my fav. When your own team mate thinks it would be a good idea to spam the dark matter generator (whatever that thing is called) or something like the mine launcher,and you go flying off the map.

So my question is....should it count as a kill if somebody hits you then you decide to kill yourself,should it count as a kill to the person who inflicted damage on you? Or should RiliSoft figure out a batter idea for this?
 
I think the best way to do this is to Deduct Points from anyone who kills themselves when in combat with another player. Not so sure how it would work but eh.
 
How about taking damage from an Area Damage weapon, but can't kill yourself when you have only one point of health left?
 
How about not being able to kill yourself in general...
Gotta think inside the box here guys
 
I'm in between.. On one hand I think it is faul play to kill yourself, but I do it myself by accident when I try to rocket jump away from someone who is about to kill me and I have not been looking at my armor, so it is difficult to answer.. But I think that it is a problem that we can use suicide to keep the other team from getting points.
