I need a OP weapon to counter smart bazooka spammers.

Yes but im looking for a play style.

And ThePixelGod, it's a difficult weapon to counter, but there are ways.

Firstly the prototype is a good counter for long range as it's a very powerful single shot weapon. Shoot a player with it from range and if they're shooting back get to cover.

However if the skilless smart bullet user approaches you there is another solution. Get up close to them and pull out a melee weapon or even a shotgun. Since its a homing weapon they're only effective at mid to long range so getting up close and slice or blast their face off.

If they're jumping like a chicken and going around all over the place, pull out a mines launcher, toy bomber or a demoman. These things REALLY miff them off. It throws them all over the place and the projectiles should destroy the smart bullets.

Yeah thanks I'm going to save up for the demoman.
And since I already have the Prototype I'm going to upgrade it.
 
Every weapon has it's weakness.
DEFENSE:
If the Manual Guidance keeps killing you, hide behind a thick wall.
OFFENSE:
Trapper Up1. Seems to one shot everybody. Trust me. I have Adamant Armor Up2 (Heavy Adamant Armor (I liked it better with the Ups) and keep getting killed by that thing.
 
Try the "Bastion", Shark Spark, and Stinger to counter these people using the Smart Bullet Bazooka.

If you don't want to spend money trying to counter them, try to confuse the Smart Bullet spammers by moving in an oddball manner (like zigzagging with high-mobility tool, teetering, etc.)
 
@ThePixelGod try using a fast-firing sniper rifle, like the Guerilla Rifle (my personal fav) or the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle. Both of these weapons have good damage and fire rates, (and 10 times zooms) so you will easily be able to counter SBB nubs at mid range. If you get cornered, use the plasma realeaser of XbOcOdE to rocket out of there
