Good games were not meant to last long enough, I can name a few that were so popular back then and then theyre now hated (well except for certain games).. PG3D was so good that it became so bad because they overestimated the concept and genre of the game..

I just recently installed the game to see how much it "improved". I barely see any active people at all. So i tried the new map in multiplayer, there were only like... 4 people in it in a maze-liked map (white house). Lol no fun at all compared to the 2014 pg3d. 2014 was the best year for me imo
