8.0.0 Survival Guide

Let me guess? Your a newbie who has finally downloaded PG3D today or some Player who played PG3D and Deleted it and downloaded it again and wonders "Hey what the duece happened to the game!?".

Well as most of you know Pixel Gun 3D had undergone tons of awesome changes in 8.0.0, but also added controls, interface and weapons we don't understand how it works.

This guide aims to ensure that you get used to the new interface and come out kicking out with enough skills and firepower to beat the crap out of "Juggernaughts". Whats a Juggernaught? One might ask. Well, Juggernaughts are players, who have obtained Crystal Armor and OP weapons that can kill a player in a few seconds. We'll go in depth of these kind of players(and a lot more) later, but for now let's talk about...

Thing to do before Joining Multiplayer:
So you downloaded the game eh? Well congrats lad. Welcome to the World Of Pixel Gun. One thing to do before joining multiplayer is to Complete Tutorial and Campaign. This helps you earn a bit of coins to give you a headstrart during late game.

The Interface:
Learning and getting used to the interface is the first step in getting better at the game. Although you might master the interface after a few hours of gameplay it is best to take note of a few things like...

Changing Control Placement
It's quite surprising how some players don't know about this feature. Left handed players(like me) have a difficulty on the controls. It'd be best to tinker around with the controls to suit your play style.

Sensitivity
Some players don't even bother adjusting it, they just rush straight into battle and when they actually found a target their fingers slip out of the screen and get killed instead. This may also drop your Device and result in a big CRACK( I just saved your guys devices) :tongueout:

Weapons:
So you have finally understood the interface and collected enough booty to buy your first gun. Now your wondering "Hmmm what should I buy? Maybe I'll buy that awesome looking gun" or "That gun can shoot through walls". Now let me stop you right there. Even if the gun might look awesome or have an awesome perk, one must think twice before buying it. I can already tell that your imagining how OP you are with that gun, but when you join a game, BAM BAM BAM!!!! Your lying on the ground with the weapon your holding you thought was awesome and then you go back to the lobby and start regretting terribly. This happens to a lot of players.

I would suggest asking a friend or do some research on that certain weapon. I will list down the Pros and Cons of this method below.

Pros

*You can find a better and Cheaper weapon, thus saving enough money to buy another one.
*You have better knowledge on how the gun works and the damage it inflicts

Cons

*Guns they recommend might not suit your playstyle
*Friends might troll you or use you as a tester for the gun

Conclusion:
The Pros and Cons pretty much balanced. If you have a good friend, then you won't have a problem with the Cons though ;)

Now that you have understood the statement above, I myself would recommend this list of weapons to players starting out. I will state below why it's a good choice and how helpful it can be late game.

Combat Rifle:
"Why the Combate Rifle?" One might ask. It's because of its decent damage and Scope(Final Upgrade). This gun is widely used by Newbies, Amatuers, and Pros alike.

Fast Death:
Although weak when bought, it can become a deadly weapon when fully upgraded and when held by a skilled player.

Diablo:
The Diablo might be costly, but it's worth it, this Weapon can Kill an unarmored player in two strikes.

Headhunter/Guerilla Rifle/PSR:
"Why should my Special slot be filled with snipers?". Most of you are saying, it's because this weapon can be used in Sniper Forts for easy farming, one should also consider their one-shot capabilities to the body and limbs(excluding the Guerilla Rifle).

Gravity Blaster:
This gun can be a very useful fo every map, be it for disrupting players aim or get into high places to make sniping more easy(for beginners that is). Did I also mention that it's second and final upgrade can kill Unarmored and Iron Armored
Players

Armor:
A pretty useful tool to soak up more damage(Best to upgrade every five levels)

Playstyle and Strategies:
So you got the stuff and now your ready to kick butt. You join a server and start killing everyone on sight, you feel like your the Ultimate player, when suddenly a player joins and steals the win from you. You're mad and quit the game,"Why the hell did that darn guy join!?" You say to yourself. Well first off, the first instinct of a new player who joins a game is

Shoot everyone on sight---->Win and earn coins and exp---->Repeat

This is pretty common to most players. Since the players first objective is to earn coins and get better stuff. The problem is your just running blind in the battlefield. Other players who have a high vantage point from others will use this to their adavantage, while your on the ground getting picked off by snipers and long range weaponry.

"But they have better gear than me!" You say. Well let me tell you something. Weapons don't matter! Skill and Logic are key roles when winning a fight.

One thing to take note when in battle is to >Never stop Moving< This makes it hard for snipers to take you out and a bonus to pin down a PSR users position. One thing to take note of is to practice aiming for the heads, this helps in conserving ammo and taking out players much faster.

Types of Players:
Alrighty then lads, your almost there, you have finally formulated tactics and got decent weapons to take out even the strongest player. Although one thing to take note in Pixel Gun is the various types of Players. Below is a list of these players, although this may not matter, it does help a bit of understanding the minds of players

Daters:
The most common type of players. These players weild low leveled weapons and pretty much have no skill and pretty much depend on their weapons. It's quite entertaining trolling these players, in which they respond to retarded comebacks

Beggers:
Pretty rare players, found usually in Pool Party, Shooting Range, Proms, and Dating Servers. This players are pretty much lazy people who want easy coins and exp.

Prommers:
This people are quite common on Silent School in Deathmatch. These kind of people have poor or decent skills. Crashing this kind of servers will be a good way of practicing your aim ;)

Juggernaughts:
These players are stated a while back. These players are well geared. There are three types of Juggernaughts the Abuser, the Sniper, and the Wizard

The Abuser: Are pretty common player, weilding weapons such as Dragon Breath or Freeze Ray

The Sniper: This kind of Juggernaught spends most of its time in Sniper Forts

The Wizard: A very rare type of Juggernaught, they are found in Silent School or Nuke Town

Glitchers:
Players that have acquired wallbreak weapons and exploit Glitches found in certain areas of the map. Usually found in Mafia Mansion, players like these can be very annoying. Although this kind of players can easily be countered with wallbreak weapons aswell.

PG Pros:
A very rare type of player. This kind of players vary from weaponry, but each skilled with their weapons of choice. Unlike other players, these players rarely use energy weapons and play fair. Consider yourselves luck if you meet one

This is the end of the thread, I hope that most of the people who read this, have had a better understanding of the game.

yeah, new people can rapidly become as good as any of us just by reading this and getting a good gun. Just saying, as a suggestion, the crystal laser cannon is a good buy.
