Latest update made arena more difficult. No more having four bars of armor to protect you.
So, I made it to the top of the leaderboards. Over one million points. Survived to wave 65.
Lastly, I hope this proof works:

Good job, I once went over 1m points and it took me like an hour and half to two hours (I had useless gadgets on, so basically without gadgets). Few days later I had to reinstall the game due to bug I had and I lost the survival score and since then I have been too lazy to do it again.
So, I'm thinking about doing it again, I have few questions;
- what weapons did you use,
- what was your strategy &
- how long did it take you?

This is the Arena made harder because of the update. Therefore these conditions apply:
  • One row of hp
  • One row of armor (only by pickups, not by equipment)
  • No gear. They won't have any effect.
  • No purchased weapons. You start off with Pixel Gun and Starting Knife. You can gain as drops, the simple machine gun, the ak mini, the simple shotgun, the old revolver, and the light machine gun.
  • Enemies are more varied, capping off with Hell enemies after wave ~25
  • Enemies difficulty spike increases much faster.
Now, what is my strategy?
It is split into two parts.
First part, which is the most difficult:
To save time, I go in an Aggressive circle.
I go in a circle around the map, but as enemies spawn, I kill them. However, some enemies you cannot kill, and some enemies I'm confident I'll kill while walking straight into them.
Part two:
When enemies stop spawning, I keep going in a circle, but I look behind me, and aim for the ranged units. Those are the biggest threat.
I kill them all.
Tips:
  • ALWAYS GO FOR WEAKPOINTS FOR EXTRA DAMAGE.
  • ALWAYS MANAGE YOUR AMMO.
  • CHOOSE PIXEL GUN OVER OLD REVOLVER, you'll be able to dish out more damage with each cartridge.
  • MANAGE YOUR HP AND ARMOR.
How long did this run take me?
A little over four hours. There are 45 enemies each wave, and I gave up at wave 65 after getting one million points.
OH, another thing to note, these maps are not viable for arena:
  • Scary Pizzeria
  • Ice Rink
The design of these maps makes it very difficult to get far.

Oh My..... You survived 64 WAVES?! Well, I gave up in Wave 9 \_(ツ)_/

Hopefully your score doesn't get erased like 99% of players have experienced already.

For REDACTED sake, they always have to ruin the game with such updates.. I guess I had the same strategy as you before but damn two hours was a lot for me and now it requires like double the time before.. Well thanks for the tips but dunno if I will waste 4 hours.

I'm just glad they made it harder (still easy for veterans).
They need to make the difficulty keep going up as time goes on. It gets boring.

It's gotten really easy. Though it takes while. It took me 6 hours to get a score of 2.3 million. The reward doesn't change though, always just one coin. Well past lvl 100. I was tired and also felt it a bit pointless to go on so I just ended it. Not sure how many others my score shows up for as the scores under mine fluctuate strangely and shows all others as having a score of under 500k, which is hard to believe.

I used to hole the record. I got to wave 40 before giving up, one million points, I got this 2 years ago now. I wanna do it again.
