Dual Machine Guns UP2 or Shotgun pistol?

I saved up my gems to 64 And got 50 gems in the free gift today (!!!) []. What is the better gun? Should I upgrade my Dual Machine Guns to UP2 right now, or should I save up a little longer to buy the Shotgun pistol? Or, would you buy something else? Just looking for some opinions.

Dual Machine Guns are pretty decent, if you can handle the crazy spread after firing 10 bullets.

It depends. If you have an automatic primary, the shotgun pistol would probably be better. Thing is, the dual machine guns are sorta all around, so dual machine guns.

Dual Machine Guns fully upgraded were a beast like them. They're still effective though.

Personally, I don't recommend the shotgun pistol at all. Wait until you get it from the prize box. I would either go Dual Machine Guns if you're close to medium range (because of spread), and Dual Revolvers for medium to long range or for bunny hopping/jet packing players (because they have NO SPREAD WHATSOEVER NOT EVEN JOKING.)
