[idea]Topic of the month and thread of the week

I was thinking that it would be neat to have a topic of the month(for General Discussions), for example have the topic of the month about armor,a certain gun(s), and other PG3D related topics. And whatever the topic of the month is there will be a thread of the week picked out that features this topic in it and it would be pinned for that week. And then another thread featuring the topic of the month will be picked after that week is over. Once the month is over with a new topic will be picked.
So tell me what you guys think of this idea

You mean in a similar sense to how Minecraft Forums has a news bulletin section for news and recent events in the Minecraft community?

I guess we could theoretically start a sort of "blog post" styled featured topic of the month/thread of the week, however I'd rather we had a more expansive community for the topic of the month thing personally. If this idea gets more movement behind it though, I might reconsider the earlier statement and talk it over with VashX.
