Multiposting Merge Software

So recently when I was on another forums I noticed things such as multi-post merged in some of the members messages. Well it turns out, whenever you multi-post,it merges your post instantly! Huzzah! Would it be possible to implement this in the PG3D forums?

Moderators merge the posts themselves.

I would very much like to know what forum this was, and what software it was using. If it was using XenForo (set up pretty much like this), I might be able to inquire about the software to VashX and see if he can get it implemented. In a way, this would crack down on multi-posting, and it would save the Forum Staff some time as well with reports (moreso whenever we get a user who multi-posts for an entire page).

It was Terraria Forums, unfortunately I have no idea what XenForo is.

Hmm, if this is the official Terraria forums you are talking about, they do use XenForo for their forum software.

I'll inquire to VashX if we can get this plugin.

It is the official forums. I usually go there to check for updates when I noticed the "double post merged" thing.

mutli posting some times isnt bad.If you want to reply to a thread but the last post was yours and was more than a week old i dont see why its bad to double post.
why edit when u have to say something copletely different but cant cause nobody posts in that thread like srsly

I consider the "downfall of the multi-posting age" a great thing. Means that forum threads are more in-line and whatnot. Also saves the Moderators time to merge posts when someone double/multi-posts.
