My new idea for the shoutbox

You know how people use color codes in the shoutbox? It's annoying having to type it in right? Well, I think there should be and option in the setting to automatically type it in for you. It can be unlocked when u get custom titles
 
If memory serves me right, this was a feature that was implemented long ago. However, it was removed along with "image posting" for reasons unknown.
 
I like this idea too, it is annoying having to do it every single time. This way would make that a lot easier and less time consuming.
 
Actually, it was removed a long while back and has been reserved for forum staff ever since. Partly due to the fact people would use similar/the same colors as other users, which did cause a good lot of confusion when responding to other users.

You need to be at least a month old on the forums and you need 75 messages to unlock the custom title option. You then go to personal details and you should see this .Screenshot_2015-02-01-15-21-41.pngIf you don't then you may have to wait a couple of days for the option to appear.

Plazma's right. By that estimation, you need to post anywhere except in the OTL 6 times, and gotta wait until February 11th to get your Custom Title. :smile:

It is not a new thing to have colour code palettes anyways, and I do miss the image-posting option (and the PUNisher :grin:) that we long had. Furthermore, the replacement of it with the YouTube videos causes tremendous amount of lag on certain devices as I have heard, and it may be best for the shoutbox to revert back to its original state back in July.

PS, note that I do not use my colour code whenever it pertains to forum moderation or suggestions. :tongueout:

theres a thing called copy paste, that's what it is for. use it.
