Opinions on my ZE idea?

Hey, guys. I have noticed that the modes in PG3D are starting to get boring, ain't they?

I've decided to persuade @RiliSoft to add a new mode called Zombie Escape.

Zombie Escape is a mod in Counter Strike Source and Counter Strike Global Offensive. The mod consists of two teams: the humans and the zombies.

The objective of the humans is to run along the course and escape the zombies by getting to a particular area or getting on a vehicle or eliminating all of the zombies.

The zombies, however, have to win by infecting all of the humans before they succeed in escaping.

Every player starts as a human, but five of them are randomly picked to be the "mother zombies".

Mother zombies are the five starting zombies. Each of them start with 10,000 hp each, whereas zombies that were human but ended up infected have 5000 hp or more as soon as they are infected, depending on how much damage they took as a human.

In zombie escape, humans can't just run forever. There are times when the door in front of them is closed, and they have to defend until the door opens. Same goes when the transport has not arrived yet.

When defending, it is more important to push them back instead of killing them, because zombies have lots and lots and lots of hp, but all weapons have increased knockback, whereas shooting a zombie will push them back. Knifing a zombie, however, pushes them back so far, they fly 20 meters back, so knifing zombies has been banned on most zombie escape servers.

Some maps have bosses which require many to defeat, including Rick Astley (yes, Rick Astley is a boss in one CSS ZE map)

Some maps are long while some are short.

The mod even has its own wiki, by the way.

I wonder if @RiliSoft will make this a reality, because there might be TONS of lag.

I do agree with the modes getting boring at times. This would be a pretty cool mode. This mode pretty much gives a lot of action and pretty much gets players to work together. Nice Idea DSB, buy like you said there may be lag.
 
Sounds like a very cool idea, the models could still be the same, just the textures could be different. For instance, if a player is infected, they could have some pre-added blood effect added to the player's skin, and their walking animations would be akin to that of the Survival zombies (albeit a bit faster).

The idea sounds great, I do agree with Ruby though, the update may cause lag to older devices. However, I suppose all good things must come to an end, eh? Maybe it is time RiliSoft made an update that got rid of a few devices.

Yeah, I guess there's gonna be loads of lag. This mod is really, really fun, by the way, and the maps are just plain awesome. The LOTR ones are simply amazing. Helm's deep has a part where you must defend to make sure the zombies don't reach the main door with a battering ram or climb over the wall before falling back to the hall, then getting ready for a final charge, just like the movie.

Agreed, mate. It's just that zombies walk as fast as humans in CSS. When zombies are hit by a grenade, they are knocked back and they walk slower, since they are set on fire.

I hope that PG3D doesn't get rid of ios.

Watch zombie escape mod videos on youtube, and you'll see how hard it is to make such physics and maps.
