Here is the idea I posted on RiliSofts suggestions thread.

Fire Rate- 98
Capacity- 60
Mobility- 100
Cost- 320 Coins

Upgradable- True

Fire Rate- 98
Capacity- 80

Upgrade Cost- 110 gems
Based off of the QBZ-95B assault rifle with a Chinese flag on either above the grip or on the stock.

You know what's the most annoying player in pg3d? Gear-spammer. That's why I have invented a new weapon with new mechanic.

Name - EMP missile launcher
Lethality - 0
Fire rate - 58
Capacity - 1
Mobility - 90
Cost - 355 coins

Special - disables gears such as turrets, mechs and jetpacks for 30 seconds. When a turret is disabled, turret stops shooting. When a player is struck by a emp blast, mech he/she is using will be unable to shoot for 30 secs and jetpack will also be useless.
That player cannot place or use another gear item for 30 seconds since the item he was using is not destroyed but disabled. The effect does not stack.

Just gonna put these here. These weapons are for lv 26 people with ruby armor. (They have the same strength as the assault machine gun)

Ruby laser cannon (crystal laser cannon upgrade):
Damage/shot: 5
Damage/headshot: 10
The rest of the stats stays the same
Cost: 500 coins (the only max tier weapon that cost coins)

Hellraiser upgrade:
Damage/shot: 7
Damage/headshot: 14
The rest of the stats stays the same
Cost: free if the player bought the 3rd upgrade before

Prototype upgrade:
Damage/shot: instakill
Damage/headshot: OVER 9000
The rest of the stats stays the same
Price: free if the player bought the 3rd upgrade before

These are just the first few weapons that needs to be buffed. In fact, every weapon in the shop needs to be buffed.

This, this, this, and this! EMP Gear in general also.
 
I'd just like to see weapons tiered much like how armour is, so that the game experience does not change much as you progress through the tiers.
 
Does swords count?
If it does, I would say Elucidator and Dark Repulser. The upgrade could have a special attack like starburst stream or something.
Even though I know this is highly unlikely to be added.
