The mine launcher, do you get kills with it?

I am using the mine launcher when I am surrounded by enemies, but the couple of times I have used as my primary weapon, I do only get kill assist.. Any tips on how to become better with this thing? If I use custom cape it will have a lethality on almost 18, but that is still in the low end compared to other weapons..

I get lots of kills with it. There were two hammer spammers fighting on the Floating Island map last night and I accidentally fell off...I didn't know what to do so I shot the mines launcher up back at the island...I killed both of them.
They were already damged but still it gave me two kills and 140 points.

That is a pretty cool kill :-) so do you use it for short range, long range? And do you aim after the person you want to kill or on the ground? I have noticed just now that the grenades /mines will explode after a certain amount of time from when they leave the barrel, so I actually just found out now (Yes I am a little slow some times) that they can lay on the ground for a second before exploding.. I always assumed that they exploded as soon as they hit something due I have mostly used it for long range fights.. So that gives me a new opportunity if I can predict where the enemy is going, and I have for the first time used it in corners.. You can shoot in a wall an hit a enemy you can not see due it will bounce back from the wall before exploding.

I usually use them for Close range....not too close though because you'll hurt yourself .-.
And yes...they do explode after about 3 seconds when they come out of the barrel.

Yeah the explosion delay is awesome!! As you stated, I use it for predicting where the enemy is & sometimes at mid range if I'm fairly well covered  dont use it too often, really only in sticky situations. Its really good at short range when it doesn't throw your enemy around too much XD

I agree with you on that one.. If a person is using it non stop it feels a little "unfair".. Even though the damage is not high, it is a very powerful weapon.

I think I'm the person .(must admit that mine launcher is op)
Hahaha oh so you are the one.... Yes it is somehow op (does that mean ower powered?), but it is definitely the weapon I love using the most.. I bought the Bastion, but that is no good, at least not to me in the maps I play.

Oh and with the demolition cape fully upgraded, you can take 50% of your own explosions and reload is much faster too. . Pretty nice..

Personally the Mines Launcher is extremely good at defending the point locations in Point Capture.
Stay a bit away from the point and when the point is contested by the enemy or it became a warzone near you, spam it.

Thanks for the tip, have not yet tried that game (I only play team fight), but I am on my way to try out the other games, so I will have this in mind..
I think that the aim is pretty decent on the mine launcher.. After some serious practice I can in 7 out of 10 shots, hit an enemy very close on medium distance.

I completely agree, this is one of the main uses I have for it!!

Point capture is VERY fun, but do be warned that if the enemy team has more players than you it can be VERY unfair. On the topic of more game modes, once you feel completely confident in your skills, I highly recommend deathmatch.
And yes, op does mean over powered

Thanks, I will try death match.. I have tried to find you in friends.. Do you use the same name?
