The beta testers for PGWorld probably have noticed that it's quite easier to get coins and there's no IAPs. You might say, "It's just da beta", but PGWorld is a standalone game with no tie to any software (like Steam). That means that IAPs have to be carried out online, and Rillisoft definitely won't make us do THAT. So where is Rillisoft gonna get their hard earned CASH. Easy. Charge up front.

Who said?Pixel Gun started without being Pay-To-Win, a survival that gives you 10 coins per wave and with huge bonus for leveling up...You can't be sure if PgW is going to be P2W or not...Lets just hope for a non-P2W Pixel Gun World...

Did you already forget my idea of in-game advertisements?
No. While that would work, having advertisements that stop all gameplay would slowly drain the player base. If in-game advertisements were to exist they should be integrated into matches, like blimps displaying the ads that float around the map or billboards.

Don't see why that couldn't work. Burnout Paradise had in-game advertisements via billboards (though half the reason was for increased realism, it could still work). Parkour City (among a few maps) does have in-game adverts for weapons and the like, why not program the billboards/posters on the maps to display different advertisements at random.

Exactly!

if you have ever been to time square in New York then they could do an area of a map just like that and the huge screens would have advertisment [maybe even make a NYC map]

Free for players who are Beta tester!
I don't think that would be fair the tiniest bit. I reckon the beta testers are privileged to participate in the closed beta testing. If you wanted something in return of being a beta tester, u should think of the privileges already given to beta testers and free for us wouldn't make it fair don't ya think?
Either free for everyone or buy to play for everyone.
It's better to have it fair amongst everyone.

Beta Tester deserves a hard work they have, it must be fair to do that, THEY reported for bugs and they reported for anything at all to see everything.

No, then everyone would try to be a beta tester.
Beta testers hardly do any work report bug. they might even keep big exploits to themselves

It ain't hard work if your enjoying what you're doing. Since all you're doing is playing a game - the only difference is that you're playing the game earlier than most people. Honestly, I find it more of the other way around; Since Beta-testers:
•Play the game early
•Keep the stuff they acquired during the Beta-Period(I'm just gonna assume that you keep your stuff)
Might even keep big exploits to themselves
-Also the fact that most of these people might even become «Beaters»(Heh... SAO Reference anyone?).

Hehehe I'm definitely not it... :flushed:
XD
And yeah I agree with both of you
Being a beta tester is not a hard work, cuz all we do is play the game and if we see any bugs, we report them.
Being a beta tester myself I don't think it would be fair for us to get free when others have to pay. As I have already stated, we already got many privileges and to have it fair, keep it the same for everyone.

In regards to the beta players keeping exploits to themselves, I can firmly say after glancing at PGW's forums, that they aren't. They have a bug list approaching about 3-4 pages long, and all the beta testers are working their hardest to report the bugs as best as they can.

Nonetheless, perhaps we should prevent such an idea from taking place. Often times, this is how games wind up going downhill, because the beta testers know the loopholes for the game, and can use this to severe advantage against all other players.

Probably not IAP's, but probably some DLC.

Agree

The game will be free when it comes out....

And we do have caught all of few hackers taking places of scores and points on multiplayer.

Actually, no. At this point, the game is nowhere near having any justifiable price tag. If BETA testers got to play, then have to pay all of a sudden just to keep their accounts would be stupid. All of the people who got in are considered in my book the diggers that got to California before all of the others. This beta IS the Gold Rush.
