I usually just listen to soundtracks not songs. For example, the youtube channel NCS (No Copyright Sounds). They have good soundtracks that most youtubers use as well.

Lol and I definitely agree with the in-game music being not "pretty bad" but extremely bad and annoying. Whenever I listen to it while I am playing. I tend to get a headache.

I usually listen to all of my video game soundtracks I have downloaded from YouTube. But the 2 soundtracks I listen to the most is from the Kirby series and the Kingdom Hearts series. If I'm not listening to my soundtracks, I'm mostly listening to Drum and Bass and alternative rock.
