Why no reward for winning?

I joined a sniper forts death match game and there was only 30 seconds left and one guy there and I managed to shoot him once before the time went out, but no reward? How come XD

Apparently you need a certain amount of points to get a reward. which is still stupid

You need to get over 50 or 100 points in order to obtain a reward.

Not sure exactly. Maybe 30 I say, but you can get different amounts of points depending on how you kill, what weapon you use, head/body shots, what you kill (Mechs, turrets, invisible players, etc.), killstreak, etc. So the amount of points per kill depends pretty much on your actions and kills.
