How did you manage to break it? Were you moving it around too much or something else? Anyways, I hope it will get fixed.

Smash Bros requires a lot of circle pad input, so it is easy to mess up the circle pad by applying to much pressure. Because I applied to much pressure to it, it has scrunched up the fabric underneath the circle pad and has made it stiff. Apparently, this has been quite a common accident in Japan to those who've played Smash Bros for 3DS.
