Dedicated Server System

Bump, because I can totally do this. :tongueout:

EDIT: Welp, seems the last post was made April 6th, and it's only May 2nd. And for some bizzare reason I cannot see post #21. Anyways, DISCUSS.

I believe a "Lifetime" purchase could still be abused by hackers. That's why subscriptions like the ones I listed might actually be more beneficial to RiliSoft.
Nope, unless the hacks can get in the database, then no one can hack it with any present tool (Online mode is much much harder to hack), since this is a purchase that will only be confirmed by the server, it won't work when you are not connected and verified to it.
And this is brilliant @Bronzium, even though I will not pay for this, more payment methods, more services = less harsh development for players like the big coin nerf or adding gems as a premium currency.

-WARNING: QWERTY JUST WOKE UP, SO HIS LOGIC MAY BE WOBBLY-
This idea just might work. According to my research, this may be more flexible than shared servers. The price is somewhat acceptable, and proves more valuable than gems. But what if the community decides to give up paying for the server?

If the subscriptions stop, then the server goes down. Otherwise, this is a sure-fire alternative to gems in their entirety. Who wouldn't want those tools for their own server? I know quite a few video games where you can get dedicated servers, you just have to pay a monthly subscription to their service in order to keep it up, and you can add your own personal plug-ins to the server. SWBF and SWBFII have server manager clients for users to download and use to manage their dedicated servers, as do many other video games.

In other words, I don't see much of a flaw here. The plug-in stuff would be hard to utilize in this regard (unless RiliSoft was more willing to make their app more open-source in this regard for iOS), but just having the tools mentioned above would be an awesome way for RiliSoft to make money, and for the community to be happy. Plus, optional/mandatory/restricted armor settings would be all the more worth it if that were added in the layout customization feature for the server client.

I don't quite see much of a downside in this, if at all.

If we have this then they will be more generous to players with in-game currency stuff, which is much better in every aspect.
Also right at our brother game - Minecraft custom server is a big part of it now.
And the payment is not directly at the gears like P2W so not everyone have to buy it just to enjoy the game
