We see what something isn't :U If it's red it's every color but red; red is the only one that doesn't get absorbed, and thus isn't really red 9.6

And if you shine a blue light on a zebra; the zebra will have blue and black strips because the white will absorb most of the colour, and seeing how the zebra is a secondary light source, it will absorb light for itself, block the light because it's an opaque form. So it creates a shadow behind it. :U
