Angry reptile good weapon?

At first it was a two hit kill and now wit he accessories I have it's a one hit kill. It's actually a good weapon now. I got like ten kills with it in one round.

If you can manage around the ridiculous aiming and hitbox for the thing, I suppose it's a decent weapon. Unless they've fixed the Angry Reptile's hitbox and aim, in which case I may try it out soon.

Well, if you have to use accessories to make a terrible gun better, it defeats the purpose of using it since you could use a gun like the Brutal Headhunter with mobility-increasing accessories, which would make a much better combo.

Try it with the skeleton cape and the crown. One hit kill.

The aiming is not that bad either

New favorite weapon.

don't use the deadly reptile. the Guerilla rifle M2 kills in one headshot like the reptile and is a very good sniper.

I went on a map I made on my own and I locked it with a super hard to hack password I made a box perimeter on the egdes and the aiming was horrible. There are many variety of aiming points each a different one. It's super frustrating that I bought the razor thrower and upgraded it!

I say yes I have recently been playing with Angry Reptile. The Angry Reptile also has the ability to hold more ammo and fire faster than the Headhunter and PSR. The Angry Reptile's attack is pretty silent so you can use it stealth missions.

Angry Reptile...

Pros:
  • Faster Rate of Fire (compared to Ultimate Headhunter & PSR-1).
  • 1HKO anywhere with complete accessories.
  • Efficient CQC - Semi-Mid Range weapon.
  • Possibly the most silent weapon in the Special category.
  • Somewhat average (in comparison to snipers) ammo capacity and relatively good reload speed.
Cons:
  • The accessories it requires to achieve 1HKO are a minimum of 2 (out of 3 of your accessory slots).
  • It is *almost* completely useless in longer ranges wherein the user is vulnerable to snipers and Assault Rifles with scopes.
  • In the Special (CQC) category, it is easily beaten in terms of effectiveness by the Chain Lightning.
  • For use in larger maps, the weapon is rendered completely useless.
Verdict: The Angry Reptile is the only proficient 1HKO weapon in Semi-Mid range (think "SMG range" in shooters), the sacrifice of 2 accessory slots to completely unlock the potential of the weapon renders the user incapable of benefitting from other accessories (I.e. speed + jump height) which is one it's primary cons. The weapon will be greatly useful in maps like Pool or confined spaces like the tunnel in the Forest map and in most situations the enemy is firing at the user beyond the range capability of the Chain Lightning. If you favor CQC, stick with the Chain Lightning. If you favor long range engagements, stick with the snipers. The Angry Reptile is more of a "middle man" in the Special section, with it's specialty being the right distance between CQC and mid range.

So, should you get this weapon? If you have both Chain Lightning and a sniper rifle (on top of a good Primary, Secondary, Premium and co.), yes. If not, no. The Angry Reptile is mostly a gimmicky weapon added which diversifies the game-style it's user will experience. It's a fun gun, but not entirely proficient and conventional, more so, since most other weapons won't benefit from the added damage of the cape and crown, it's a bit of a harsh investment if you plan on swearing allegiance by the gun.

You should totally do weapon review posts on here. You could be more in-depth with facts about weapons here than on the Wiki (at least, I think so anyways).

Though I rarely use the Angry Reptile, I think the last time I used it was back when the 5.5.0 update came out. Other than that, haven't touched it since. Though since I'm seeing better remarks about it, I might try it out soon. :tongueout:
