I have heard of a rumored "Death Gun" player.
I am 99.9% sure this is just a version of minecraft's herobrine myths, but let's make sure.
I have been researching him for a while, so I will post what I have found about him. I, for one, haven't seen him/her.
1. Weaponry.
Death Gun Has yet to show or/and his Premium weapon. This bit about Death Gun is unknown.

Death Gunuses a Sniper Rifle, that does just a heart of damage. This bypasses armor. This can paralyze another player for a few seconds to 2 minutes, from what I have heard. That is his/her Special weapon, given the simple odds that most sniper rifles are in the Special Catagory.

Death Gun uses a pair of guns for his Primary, similar to the machine guns but black. Does heavy damage to armor, but does very little to your actual health.

For his Secondary, Death Gun uses a single, black Handgun. For some reason, this does one hit kills, regardless of armor. I have heard rumors about it killing players in real life somehow, but I doubt that.

His skin is a bit of a mystery, it differs from person to person.
For some, it is a Skeleton wearing Robes.
For others, it is a simple black skin, nothing but black but with two red eyes.

His armor is Black-Purple, resembling Minecraft Obsidian. I have yet to hear about people breaking the armor.

Finally, his name differs from person to Person. Sometimes it is Sterben, a German word meaning death, such as to be dead, die, decease, pass away, perish, etc.
On the other hand, his name has been reported as simply Death Gun.

But hey, this is very likely to just be a rumor. But take this as a warning, avoid anyone with the IGN Sterben or Death Gun. Don't try to kill him, as that will only result in you dieing. Just log off. Just log off.

Just general asking around. I initially found the name as the name of a custom server, which was peaceful, surprisingly.
There weren't many people who even knew Death Gun was a thing, such as in your case.

Personally, I don't find this "Death Gun"'s gear to be conceivable, as it would need to be something programmed into the game by RiliSoft in order to appear server-side like that. Even if it were a mod or a secret debug items that was compatible with all PG clients, I would've figured somebody would've reported this guy by now, and RiliSoft would be all over him.

Yeah, which is why I am 99.9% sure it is just a rumor. But would you really take the chance to not post something like this?

Maybe it is an actual event generated by Rilisoft. Maybe not. Just another idea of an explanation. Maybe whoever kills him gets some sort of weapon. But maybe it is just something to root some of the boneheads out of Pixel Gun, being they might not be killed but banned.

Honestly, I don't see the importance to. The only threat or interesting quality this guy possesses is his gear, which I am 99.999999999999998769% sure does not exist. Other than that... "Death Gun" seems to be just another player, as nothing else sets him out. If he does exist, he really seems like a hacker of sorts trying to act all mysterious. He can easily be avoided if so by simply leaving the lobby...

Then again, I have a very shallow perspective, so maybe there's something that I'm missing here.

Let's say there is some truth to people dieing if they are killed by the handgun. Let's say he has an accomplice that could do something such as stab the player on the moment they are shot.
Then almost immediately he is logged out and never seen again, as he is dead. Now that is a threat worthy reporting.

How insane you would probably have to be to do this? Incredibly, in my perspective.

How likely is this, to me? Less then 0.0000001% chance, even with the information we have gathered.

But is it worth talking about? Absolutely.

What "research"? If you type up Death Gun anywhere all search results are most likely
to be from SAO. Have you seen him? We have no proof or research of "Death Gun".

No, simply asked around on pixel gun.
I googled Death Gun Urban Legend and Death Gun Creepypasta, nothing from that anime came up in the first page of those two searches.
I googled the definition of Sterben, and I found that.

If Death Gun was real, most of us would actually know. I don't trust you when you said you asked people. You could screenshot what they said or give us your "research". OR you could just tell us you made it up.

I'm done talking. Death Gun is 100 percent fake. But give @owlcool some credit for making up this amazing story :tongueout:. This was obviously based off of SAO. New pg3d creepypasta. end of discussion...
