This is my current cape. The process into uploading a picture onto the cape is simple. This is not supported on ios systems, iphones/ipads. Only Android devices can do this. You must also have Cape Editor enables in-game.
Step 1: Download a pixelated pictures 13 KB or less. Do not download any picture file higher than 13 KB. You will not be able to play on Multiplayer Mode.Screenshot_2014-05-25-17-56-26.png

Step 2: Download the free app X-plore via the Google App Store.

Step 3: In X-plore, on the left tab, scroll down until you find a folder called Pixel Guns 3D.

Step 4: In Pixel Gun 3D file, look for a file called cape_CustomTexture.

Step 5: Delete the file cape_CustomTexture

Step 6: Go to the right tab and search for a folder named Downloads. You should find your picture to use.

Step 7: Click the picture file and click the option to Copy into Pixel Gun 3D file.

Step 8: Go back to the left tab into Pixel Gun 3D. Click the picturr file and rename it cape_CustomTexture.

Step 9: Exit and reenter the application. Congrats your cape should have your picture on it.

I already did this thing 1 month ago
EDIT: The pic is 16.15 kb

Really? Interesting. I would be disconnected on anything higher than 15 KB

Hmm, assuming file management is the same in iOOS, perhaps iOS players could attempt this as well.
Nice find, person-without-a-name-yet.

Possibly. But I have found no file management applications on iOS systems that allow access into Pixel Gun 3D files.

Well, there's iFile for jailbroken users. If they have a PC and don't want to jailbreak, there's always i-Fun Box or iExplorer for this too. I haven't done any tinkering with my iPad in quite some time, but it would be nice to know if the two apps have the same file management systems, which would make such tactics for Android users applicable to iOS users as well.

Great, I hope some immature kid doesn't abuse this.

Is there a way you can see the file size? It's just I tried it and I couldn't connect to online games. I think this was the reason because when I changed cape I could play. I'm playing on an iPad 2 and I used iExplorer

Well, Geargirl stated in a previous post (which she has removed from public view, but I can still see), that the game can only handle images with a filesize of 20.99 KB. You can view the filesize if you click on the image on a PC (if it's on desktop or in a folder), and it should show the filesize, or in Dropbox on an iDevice.

I discovered that jpeg and jpg file has lesser momery than png type for better image resolution pixel gun multiplayer mode can only support 20.99 kb when it overlimit it won't let you stay in a server for long.
EDIT: Landscape type images kicks you in the server too

I believe this is what you said in your deleted post. It's good information for those who wish to know of this trick, why hide it?
