This weapon is based from the American Stoner Rifle-25 (or simply SR-25) sniper rifle.

lol, ok then

regardless, such a high damage figure like that would be op for a weapon with added dot. that would kill an aap in one shot to the head consistently, and even if it hits the body, the dot would leave them at almost no health. i'd suggest nerfing the base damage to, say, a 3-4 shot kill to the body of an aap, which would deal around a low to mid 20 damage, then the dot would kick in after a hit.
What "aap" mean?
 
in terms of max health (27 hit points, at level 31), it could feasibly probably be a four shot kill to aap players, which would be a two shot to the head of an adamant. for lower armored players at ruby and crystal, it would probably be about a three shot to the body, which would be again a two shot headshot. not counting dot of course.
I see. Should it be like that?
 
that's what i recommend, at least.

btw, i recommend comparing damage to shots to kill on max level aaps instead of ruby armored or crystal armored players. it just makes everything more confusing.

for reference, max health aaps have 55 hit points, not counting defense-buffing gear.
