Friends List - Possible Bug Joining

[Answer my Qs Plz]

Okay, this isnt really a general problem, its more player specific and I just need some form of explanation and answer to this problem im having. So when I try to join a specific said friend, it displays his status online, multiplayer mode, server map, but wont let me join, and the join button remains grey. But with all of my other friends so far, I can join at will with a lit up green join button. NOTE: Im level 22, hes level 21, so we are in different tiers of gameplay and we arent supposed to be able to play together for those who know about the tier system, BUT with my even lower leveled friends, ex. lvl 16, the join button still remains green in the option that I am able to join. What gives, please explain any possibilities about what is occuring. I just need to know so ill be prepared for this occuring yet again with further friends. Thank you and please respond back.

Perhaps, it's because the said player is online, but not joining a match.

Maybe, but probably not, cause the game tells me that he is on a multiplayer mode, ex. Team Battle, and then states the map, ex. Heaven, as "ON: Team/ Heaven". So im not completely sure on that note. I actually considered that before, but it doesnt add up quite right. Thanks though. Anyone else?

Actually, you may be right about your first response, because I went and checked, looked at every detail about the friend profiles, and I think Ive got something. Every online profile says playing on the main screen, but individually, everyone's independent profile that were joinable said playing at the very top, but said friends says online. Ur likley to be right, but I dont get how you could play maps like paradise non multiplayer without being on multiplayer. Just saying because hes been seen to be on those maps and still unjoinable.

Possibly, Idk. Ill check on that, but there may not be a 100% guaranteed reason to why this is happening, but I think our speculations are whats is primarily occuring and why. I wouldnt think to believe its my device, because my every other person is joinable, and I havent seen this happen to any of my other friends besides him, and only him. Then again, my friends list finally started working again just yesterday, so I may not have seen the whole picture of friends and the friends menu.

Perhaps he is on a different device than you. Now I know that there are cross platforms so different devices can play with each other BUT it also could mean he is on a different update than you due to different devices getting the updates at different times.

Makes sense, he did appear to be playing on iOS platforms, like a phone. Hey, if said friend had unfriended me, w0could his profile still be showing up on my friends list but not allowing me to join? Idk if this would be likely, it should have removed him from mine if this happened. Just saying. Nice animation btw.

This happens because your friend is online on pixel gun but isn't on the same version. Your friend might not have updated his pixel gun or vice versa.
