I unequipped my maxed-out ruby helmet. When I re-equipped it, it became a diamond helmet. What?

I decided to unequip my ruby helmet to try on the samurai mask. When I equipped the ruby helmet again, the diamond helmet came up again. Since then, I cannot get the helmet to revert to the maxed out ruby helmet I had before. Oh, and the diamond helmet is the old diamond helmet, before the update that introduced wooden and ruby armor. What the heck is going on?



Edit: And when I play, my armor protection points are only up to gold, rather than up to ruby, so the diamond helmet is clearly providing only 3 protection points (which is how much it provided back when protection points didn't have 'levels'). This is extremely frustrating.

Well my armor protection is up to silver only, 4 armor points.

ya i was thinking about that too and i thought that was in the old updates is the bug back?xD
