Well to answer your question, considering how no weapon has ever been removed from the shop before (including the festive weapons) it is likely that they are staying forever.

He means event weapons, like the ones released last Christmas and the Halloween ones which are only meant to stay available for purchase in the shop for a while, hence the term 'limited'.
