May Pixel Gun go bankrupt?

After it went F2P, I've been wondering how could this game survive?

Sure you can buy coins but they're easy to make just by playing.
There should be a feature that doesn't involve coins but involves payment instead.

How could this game survive? Believe it or not, there are a handful of people here and there who actually pay for the overpriced coins which could oh-so-easily be acquired through Survival spam or Campaign - Hard - Farm spam.

There should be a feature that doesn't involve coins but payment instead! Then promptly alienate the people who already purchase coins with their own money. It's a bad business tactic since it ignites consumer distrust and community distress with the developer, also, iOS and Android (More so, iOS) will halt RiliSoft from even attempting such practice since it causes a divide of premium currency and given the sheer overpricing of coins then sudden drop of their value will also start a "reporting spree" in the app by players who pay for coins. :tongueout:

The best tactic to force players to buy coins is nerfing the methods to acquire coins but I can just jailbreak + hack or grind to 10k coins before I update to a nerfed version.

They get money every time to connect to the internet.

I agree with Hero's statement fully. It's a deeply unwise decision to alienate players in such a manner, since it does cause a whole slew of problems between the developer and the community.

If they are going to make money some more, they may simply put the $1 price tag back on. Because let's face it, you're really cheap if you can afford a $200 device, and not pay $1 for an app.

They would have never set it to be free if they would go bankrupt... People bought the game regardless of the price before and lazy people bought coins so they eventually made enough money to be able to make it free .

I honestly think that if Rilisoft truly needed money, they would start showing advertisements on their app before trying anything else.

Agreed. Respawnables throws advertisements in my face every so often whenever I play a match or two.
