I bought about £20 worth of coins on PGW because I enjoyed the game so much. When the game is fully released will I get those coins back or my old stuff?

nothing is stealing your money. Even if you have purchased a prepaid cellular service and the company gone shutdown, nothing you can do to get your money back as you have to pay for their service or else you can't use at all.

I dont think youll get your money back, considering how RiliSoft just shut down PGW without announcing it and also shut down the forums.
