My Opinions on the 10.1.0 Update

Whats your opinion on the 10.1.0 update?

So...The 10.1.0 update... Also known as the Friends Update.
I'm too lazy to make a rant, so IMA just list the pros, cons, and neutrals, out in a list, then diatribe why I like, hate, or think its meh.

PROS:
-New Weapons- They're cool to have.
-Updated Friend/Clan Systems- YAY NO MORE ANNOYING GLITCHES AND OTHER STUFF TO HELP YOU FIND A FRIEND!!! LIKE FACEBOOK!!!
-Free Weapon- Just sign in on Facebook and get a free weapon that would have been good at a lower level..
-New Maps- The portal maps are awesome, with good music IMO, and the Terrifying Resort map.. Ehh

NEUTRAL:
-SandBox- Essentially a Dater Heaven. I have Neutral feelings about this because It drives away daters from actual gameplay, but it also says PG3D IS A DATING SIM NOW!!!
-New Weapons- As awsome as these things are, they're annoying to deal with.

CONS:
-New Weapons- they all cost gems...
-Nerfed but still OP weapons- StormHammer for example...
-Lag still present- ...yep
-Still Impossible to get gems, without a twitter account- You can get 10 gems per post if you have a twitter account, but that is pretty much the only way to consistently get gems.
-Patched Method- Yep... They patched my method of grinding gems... gg Rili$oft... Gg

So, what are your opinions on the new update?

Bad?
Cake?

My opinion? I think it's a step forward. Since we can friend each other easily, we can do tournaments easier, and chat with your friends (if you're friends with that one person). The gems, guns, and lag still needs some work...

For me it's ok/meh. I'm glad they changed the friends and added a messaging system. The new weapons seem ok I like the guns that ricochet. (If my iPad puts raging rocket one more time,I'm gonna be mad.)
 
Just curious what lag are y'all talking about? Framerate device lag or connection lag? I'm having serious framerate lag. Can't even use the gun so I resort to storm hammer lel

EveryTime you sure a match results to Twitter, you get ten gems for each post.

I'm talkin' about both frame rate, and connection. Doesn't seem to effect me on the new maps though.

Normally, when I restart my account, I would have my coins and gems carried over to the new account. But now, they patched it so I start out with 10 coins and 5 gems. Which sucks..

Dang, it affects on area 52 like hell.. I'm at around 6-8 fps average. (15 fps for 1-2 second then freeze for 1 second fully when i kill someone or reload). You?

Every time you "sure?" a match results to Twitter, you get ten gems for each post? I do not understand, I do not use Twitter very very very often.

Blame stupid auto correct and tiny keyboard. I ment to say, "Every time you SHARE a match result to twitter, you get Ten Gems, "
But This is unlikely, because I think you only get 10 gems just from connecting. Because you know Rili$oft
 
How is sandbox mode neutral..
Sandbox is terrible since no one really chats on it and 99% of the time when they do its to ask for a gf or bf

They should have known it would attract online daters but you know screw it..

I went into a game and saw a person giving their kik
Then I saw someone ask for a bf
Then saw that another like 5 times..
Then saw a custom server called I need a gf
Then I saw a person called sexy girl...
Yeah. No filter. Unless you mean something else by filter. But either way yeah..

I vote cake. Because cake is good.
In all seriousness, I have mixed feelings for this update. I like how they have found a way to fix the friends system glitch.
However, there is still no easy way to get gems, and all the new weapons cost gems. Really Rilisoft, just really. I know you want to make money, but come on, you're better than this.
Also, Sandbox mode. Just Sandbox mode. Could have been a nice idea, but nope, they had to make it weird and dumb. At least all the daters may POSSIBLY flood to here, hopefully.
I rate this update 6/10.
