It's a tiring and long process, but it's pretty cool when it's finished. I myself made a stop-motion back when I was 12, however it wasn't anywhere near as good as the ones Pixelgamer made. My lighting was off, i was using a 5-year old digital camera for it (lens was very poor, zoom focus even worse), and my framerate was just a little bit choppy. Regardless, it still worked somewhat and was pretty cool.
