Official Pixel Gun World announcement

As (ex) Lead Moderator and also behalf of Pixel Gun World team, please do note that the project is canceled for indefinite of time. Reason withhold, but enough to say that the project will not be brought back. A mimic or similar version to Pixel Gun World may exist, but do note that it is not PGW itself. So, thank you for at least giving us chance to shine even for a brief moment :smile:

P/S: Pixel Gun World website has been officially torn down, and replaced with Pixel Gun 3D.

"Mimic" well, we can consider that as PGW coming back. Anyways, are you sure a game very similar to PGW will be made? If so, I'm so looking forward to it then!
 
since pixel gun world is not going to be coming back will there be away to get refunded? I spent at least 40$, with no notifications that this would be shutting down I find it unfair if we do not receive refunds. If when you got pixel gun world it said something along the lines of it being shut down in the future then I would not be as mad. But having a game I've spent money on be shut down only after a year, and with no head up that it would be shutting down is really annoying.

Isn't it strange that people were purchasing micro-transactions in a beta game?
 
TBH, I wish a copy of PGW would've been given to a different company so that the company can maybe revive the site and the forums, develop the game even better and make the game F2P. Anybody agrees?
 
It doesnt even have to be a company they just need to click the single button in Unity to re-enable photon servers or pay their 95 $ to keep them up for 60 months.
And these A**holes have that money. How I know they use the photon Unity Networking?rili.JPG Here you can see the full page of the Unity asset store where the price is said too. I myself am building a FPS with my friends and it is realy that simple to re-enable the servers. Ok I have no idea how much the forums cost but they used a service which gives the a template and servers to build on.

It's Rilisoft for crying out loud. All they care about is money for themselves. If they don't see little kids dropping $20+ dollars every other, "weekend sale", then it's obviously a huge money waster and they rather focus on making op and exspensive weapons on their mobile game.......

Well, because it was like PG3D from 7.1.0, except with unique interfaces and exclusive content. It also did have several other changes, but it was actually a really fun game.

Maya Pixel gun world was old PG3D in 60fps and even more exciting and enjoyable
it wasn't obsessing but it was fun as hell...

No my friends and me are curently making a simple Unity fps game on our own (without everything being just gotten from the assetstore). It wont be free to play, but ca. 80cts and a free demo. It will be very fast paced but not very high quality, since we do this as our hobby and wont invest money into it. Here a little TDM map preview:
