Rant concerning the "dislike/disagree" ratings

In recent events, there has been some "drama" over the the "dislikes" ratings. So I'm going to clear some things up.

First off, if someone puts a "dislike/disagree" rating on your post, so what? They are just showing that they do not agree with you or do not like the content you are displaying. It's the same concept of 'likes" and "dislikes" on YouTube, it's there to show the creator what the audience does and doesn't like. It's not an attack on you if some ones hits the "dislike/disagree" button on your post, and if it is or you have suspension that it is you can always contact any of the mods or use the report button. But so far all in recent events it doesn't not seem to be the case with attacking other members.
Secondly, who are you to tell other members to stop "disliking" your posts? As I've stated above, they are trying to tell you they do not like/agree with the content you are showing. Going onto to members profile and telling them to stop is not ok. Trying to force members to stop rating your post, whether negatively or positively, should not and shall no longer be tolerated.

With that being said, if members continue to go onto other member's profiles or try to force another to stop rating there posts I will give them warning points. I will start considering this as a form of Jr. Modding and bullying. If you're getting negative ratings others members are trying to tell you something, so maybe you should change your content if you don't want negative ratings.
 
The ratings themselves are merely forms of expressing one's opinions, however the amount of them being directed towards a specified group of members is utterly dumbfounding. The fact of the matter is, older members of the forum are trying to impose a non-PG3D environment due to recent changes in sentiment concerning the alteration of this forum's purpose. However spamming dislikes and old ratings is a form of extreme and blatant social pressure and frankly can be seen as outright bullying.

It's better to just let members who are still interested in the game to continue developing the forum creatively instead of brutally expunging them. While this website remains as the "Pixel Gun 3D Forums", no one has the right to abuse those trying to put forth ideas and discussions concerning PG3D as that in itself is contrary to this site's current purpose.

Sometimes when we get to make this point easier says than ever at all, you know, fixing up someone's work and then they get mad and boom. They just gave you dislikes for no reason even whatsoever at all, as because they are just giving dislikes to randoms that makes 100% sense at all. I don't get it why they are fooling around to give out people dislikes at all.

Agreed, as I was spammed Disagree and Old ratings.

I've noticed this too and I agree with you on this. I rarely give people disagree ratings or I try not to. If I disagree with somebody a little bit, I won't give them the big X. But if that person says something that is extremely wrong or just not true, here's your big fat X!

I think some people use the disagree rating as form of attacking or bullying. Or it can come off as that. And if you're a new member and you see that 3+ people ❌'ing with you it can feel like your opinion doesn't matter here or you're not welcome here. And the last thing we want is new people not feeling welcome here.
