Ruby Armor or AGB

I'm going to grind a lot this weekend on CO-OP Survival, and so I'm wondering...should I get AGB or Ruby Armor. And is it realistic for me to get Ruby Armor (I'm level 22) Also, take into account that armor is 60% off on weekends, and guns are 30%.
EDIT:
I use Automatic Peacemaker, Flower Power, Combat Knife, Prototype and Big Buddy

If you are not good on aiming skills i will say get the agb you will perform good even without armor, agb is a very powerfull weapon and easy to use you dont really need to have high aiming skills yo perform well with that. If you are on the average or higher skill ( you dont need op weapons as agb to perform well) get ruby armor first in weekend now are 60% cheaper(as you said) so i think is a good investment right now.

looks like my post got deleted here so here it is again: since agb is gem you wont be able to get it so go for armor cause it is very important not to die fast

Yes, it cost coins for intial buy and upgrade to UP1. Maybe why people keeps thinking it's a gem weapon is most people recommends buying and upgrading it to final gem upgrade, UP2.
Reason is because of the huge power gap between UP1 and UP2 for AGB.

No, it was outdated. I was going to Edit it, but I don't have time.
 
I think the AGB is still pretty good value for money, however in my experience the PSR is more useful at the higher levels in most of the maps I play in, although it is more expensive.

AGB is better than the psr because the agb can one shot kill up to a gold armored player in a massive blast that takes out multiple enemies including u if u use the suicide method to prevent other players from killing u and getting points
