Yes, we still have spambots. However, due to the efficiency of our Moderators, they don't last long. They haven't really become that much of an annoyance really.plz tell dont me that all these new members are bots. They have wierd names but I haven't checked their profiles yet.So does this site still face the spam bot problems?View attachment 8632
Ok then thanks i will try to report if i spot anyWe receive quite a number of spambots during the after hours here in the America continents, when most staff are not as active. They can range from 12-25 spambots at some points, from what I have observed. The first thing I usually do when I awaken each morning is rid of the spambots, though it does get a slight bit confusing since some REAL members have names that can sound like a spambot and have a default profile picture. To confirm that the user is a spambot, you can identify that by checking their age (if any), noticing a promotional link to Physical/Medical products, or with other methods.
Most spambots I notice have the age of 24-26, but some can even have the age of a teenager in some uncommon cases or even profile pictures. So that's where you check their information via their profile page. Another note is that a small majority have the name "virk/Virk" in their name.
Anyways, now that I'm done rambling about how to separate spambots from "default" members and such, carry on.

Pretty much, yes. However that's all they do around here. If we didn't ban them quickly, they no doubt would've eventually lead to posting spam threads in the forum.I have a question :
Are spam bots the kind of accounts where someone just creats an account with information in there profile page to advertise to another site? Or any kind of advertisement ?
