Idk. I just decided to make new thread about something. Basically, you put down trends that need to go away, or trends that you're thankful that they died out. I'll start:

Fidget spinners. I get the purpose they were created for, but everybody and their mother has one and it's getting annoying. Did I also mention that some of them are stupid exspensive?

Dabbing, rompers, chokers, twerking (seriously though, this needs to die) and serious vaping
 
This, "Instagram make up" look needs to go away.

That overdone, caked on everything. And it's worse when girls dont know how to do it. So they end up with these weird shades and contour lines.

Alright. I'm glad that the whip and nae nae went away. That song, and the dance, were stupid.

Seems that I got last pick, because I would've said all of these (except I'm fine with twerking). Fidget spinners, dabbing, and the multiple gender debates, especially, all need to die. And I'm also very pleased that the whip and nae nae died.
 
I have another one (still don't know if it's a trend but it's annoying)
Xbox Minecraft GF/BF that are less than 15 year olds
 
A trends that I absolutely despise are the gosh darn emojiis. Others include Horrible YouTube videos, AKA- Channels that do fidget spinner videos, stupid challenges like staying up at 3:00 A.M., and calling the boss baby and saying that it is actually him. Another are the Minions, I got sick of them after seeing the Minions movie which made me realize that they should have just stayed as background characters, or not exist at all. The amount of merchandise I see about Minions makes me want to punch one straight in the eyes. Another trend I hate are the modern horror games, mostly from the indie genre, they've devolved from being legitimately scary to just plain cheap jump scares, dull/repetitive gameplay, and horror characters that fail to be scary at all. *cough cough FNAF.* If you want to see a truly good, fear inducing horror game, try out Amnesia. Another trend I don't like are certain modern video games, filled with paywalls and unnecessary DLC that isn't worth the price. Another one I hate are Minecraft music parodies... they have gotten so bad over the years... Oh, and then there's dabbing... the young generation making music videos that are even worse than Justin Bieber (like Jacob Sartorius)... terrible intros mostly used in Minecraft videos with obnoxious, over the top dubstep... the de-evolution of rap... yea I think I'm out of trends to hate...
 
Hmm..... I will go for the snapchat stuff. People try hard to be popular with their so called fashion sense. Also I'm neutral with most other stuff, like fidget spinners, etc. But I despise the Minecraft cringe such as music parodies, daters, etc.
 

There's musically. Here's a video of it. I tried finding the "perfect" example fo show you guys, but I couldnt watch anymore after one video. My friend told me that one of the most followed girls on musically gas over 18 million followers.....

Not too surprised to see which trend should die. Anyways, I agree, even though I like fidget spinners as toys themselves, but I hate it when specific content, actions, people or products, turn into trends. Here's my additional list.
  • The Lenny face. It's still alive, alive, staring pervertingly at us.
  • Female teens with an iPhone 6/7, Instagram or Snapchat and too much make-up.
  • Online dating in games.
  • Jacob Sardouchious.
  • Clickbaits in YouTube.

I hate those haircuts were they shave most of their hair, but leave just enough to comb it over or slick it back. It looks ugly.

I think every generation has it's "bad people", but the way that a lot of kids are acting now is getting dumb. Even some adults are turning very immature and acting like children. It's just getting all looney.

Every generation has good and bad, it's stupid to assume one generation is better than another. People have always been stupid, the internet just makes it easier for the stupidity to be seen and spread.

Well not everyone shares the same taste, I'm sure people in the 70s disliked the 80s, and so on. You can't restrict our generation from acting the way we want. Sure, the music is all the same, and trends are bizzare, but there's still good things out there. How much of the tech you use actually existed in your generation? What about games? Movies?
