What do you think is causing lag?

In the old days, there was no lag. Even if your internet was slow, there was no fps drop, just that nobody would be moving on your screen. Now, there is so much lag, even in singleplayer modes, so im guessing the lag is from the high graphics/animations. Im using a iphone 4s, and im pretty sure some of you use older devices. These old devices cant handle the high graphics, so there should be a 'lower graphics' button in the settings to reduce lag for older devices. How many of you guys actually cared about the graphics? For me, the older version's graphics are good enough. I dont need all these new lighting and shadow effects, especially if they cause lag.

I'm guessing that the lag is caused by the additon of killcams.
I also use Iphone 4s, so I experience loads of lag.

I think the lag is created by the Friends list, bugs, and the servers.

The amount of players on PG3D has went up, so naturally, the servers would start to get slow... maybe RiliSoft need to find a new host?

The friends list rarely loads, and maybe, while your playing on a server, the friend list is trying to load back onto your phone, taking up your Internet (bandwidth?).

Also, bugs could be the pest for lagging, but usually, when you fix a bug, 10 more appear xD

My brother is informatic engineer and he says that main reasons why your game is lagging are for thease probable reasons

1. Probably your own bad connection (which it is quite obvious)
2. Servers cant support all the data they are recieving and sending. More annimations, more players, better graphipcs, huger maps,requires better
server connections. Better connection Rilisoft servers will increase the chance you wont experience lag.
3. If youre playing wih players with bad connection you have more chances to experience lag. Why? Because this players cant process well all data and therefore servers cant recieve well that data too. Thas why when you are playing COD or Battlefield and host has good connection you can play better too and when host has bad connection you play also worse.
4. Where are you located, live. Its not the same living on a big city with where you will be better connected rather living on a lost town where people doesnt event does know about its existence. Same happen with server supporters


You cant do anything with number 3 cause it will always exist, but if youhave in your house good connection and rilisoft servers have a very good and powerfull connection the problem would be decreased and even disaaperaded. Number 4, move to another house...
