12.1.1 was just (about 12 hours ago) released on the Google Play Store. It features prominent changes, and new additions, but what makes this update stand out is something Rilisoft has never done before: Old additions, or, more simply put, the removal of certain features.
As you probably know (or need to be caught up to speed on,) weapons in PG3D constantly get more and more overpowered. In order to make new weapons worth buying in updates, the lethality of each weapon goes up. This leaves many different weapons with lower lethalities (yet still having similar prices) in the dust, and more or less not used by anyone after a month or two. When this happens, Rilisoft usually does some shifty things to save data and space in Pixel Gun 3D: Either Have the weapon appear as a similar weapon (statwise) to other players to lessen the amount of data needed in circulation, or just flat out remove a weapon and offer compensation money.
Everybody here is all too familiar with Rilisoft removing good things, and adding bad things. And Rilisoft... Huh? What? They're not Rilisoft anymore? Uhh,

Oh, I see. Huh. (The splash screen has changed yet again; Apparently they stopped trying to associate themselves with anything but a cashgrab.)
Anyway, this update adds a variety of guns: Two new, and A lot of old ones. The old ones have noticeably have their stats boosted in some areas, and some overall mechanic changes. Take a look at the new ones:

Here are some familiar faces that were removed as early as 9.0.0ish or late as 11.0.0ish. I will post a message below with all of them due to file limit:

There are also some removed maps that have been readded (with minor modifications to maps like invisible walls):
Mafia Mansion was readded (as "Mafia Cottage" for whatever reason)
Warehouse Assault was readded
Sky Islands was readded
Additionally, gamemodes that originally were free to play are now free to play and no longer cost tickets. They can be found in the normal game section.
Now another additional prize from winning games are keys. You can get up to two normally (four if you have a double bonus). If you get 25 keys, you can open a case. What's in the case? Either a classic weapon or standard lucky chest gem drops. Important: The classic weapons are exclusive to cases. You cannot purchase them. They have no upgrades, either. It feels a lot like a hacker counter the same way eggs are (hackers are still victims of chance). I burned 267 gems before getting the Wizard Wand, since you can buy keys with gems. As you can see in the above picture, there are also squad games, in which you can make a squad of friends before joining a public room, a feature that is FINALLY here.
So that's roughly it. More photos of the weapons will be posted below. I'm actually suprised with this update: It could just be nostalgia, but I thought it was a fairly good update. Gems are easier to earn, weapons are easier to get, etc. Granted, the game is very much still broken in certain aspects such as 1HK weapons.
(I can't believe I did all this for a game that I enjoyed when I was like fourteen)
