8.1.0 Some clarification from the developers.

He thought that you get weapons for free if you unlock the level
Kinda close to what I'm trying to convey, but not really. I'm glad they put in the Best Friend. That's one. Two, I mean that the game is drifting to the COD Reference zone, which is a nono for me, and that's why I am offline. I'm glad Rilisoft updated with the best friend, but for some reason, the game feels very slow, and it feels as if the FOV has been decreased. I get massive amounts of lag, and I need more sensitivity! Yes, I am one of those Quake 3 Arena Twitchy players.
The controls seem funky, but they are okay. I like how you guys add the adjustment for the size of the controls. What I really want you guys to do is make control presets, like some of us like me are used to the old pixel gun controls. And if possible, can you make an FOV Adjustment? It seems as if the FOV in 8.1.0 has been lowered.

What I think Rilisoft really needs to do is observe the qualities of the ZDoom Engine, where you can mess around with graphics, change the FOV, increase/decrease HUD Size, etc. I would have to agree with mrawesome9002 about the update, but some things need to be changed, IMO.
 
em, minor issue. it really is becoming C.O.D as the hellraiser is just a copy of the M8A1 from black ops 2

also another problem, the different set-out of ALL the guns. also that now i have an elephant hunter AND and ultimate head hunter :confused: .the FOV change makes it a lot harder!

Exactly what I'm talking about, Rilisoft. See, it seems as if you're making the game more of COD rather than it's own. Well, let's see what others say in this thread. Only 3 quotes referencing COD in PG3D (despite mine).

I'll go ahead and find more later, but others call it Minecraft + COD. It doesn't mean make it more like Minecraft and COD!

You can all ready mess about with thee HUD sizes, but being able to change thee FOV would be rather cool quite frankly.
Well yeah, but I'm talking about making new buttons on the controls layout, and defining them a certain function, changing the OpenGL Graphics, set the filtering for all textures to anything (I stick with trilinnear due to having good performance with that), the ability to warp to other maps, auto-aim (ok scratch that out of my head. Too op, Brutal Doom doesn't have it, funny), disable/enable jumping/crouching, and lots of others that I don't really remember.

I know this is kind of off-topic...

But it's the M8A1.... Not the MBA1...

Rilisoft, It's Reed Bryant from facebook. Over the past months, I have been irritated by a friends and leaderboards bug that has never been fixed. My problem is the leaderboards does not load up, it is just a blank grayish spot, and no friend requests go to me, and none of the ones I send go through either. Please fix this frustrating issue.

The Hellraiser is based off the XM8 Assault Rifle. Technically not a COD referrence.

I think it is kind off unfair that people who have been playing for a long time have a big advantage over New players. It is not skill based, just harder to become good. What if somebody got the game a few days before the update and his friend got the game a few days afterwards. They will be the same level and same amount of skill, but person 1 will still beat person 2 easily. I have been playing for awhile but my friend is finding it too hard to get into the game. This reply is not a complaint, just pointing out some issues. I now know that you are not making the game pay to win. (The new level system proved this to me)
 
Rilisoft, Are You still going to make sales? And I purchased The Dragon Wand To Upgrade when I leved up, but there's a whole new wand? WTF. Same With The Brutal Headhunter, I spent a lot of coins on that, and The Elephant Hunter is a Seperate Gun. >~>

So? It makes fair enough for this. You can use normal one instead of upgraded if you want to.

Players with different levels are separated in multiplayer mode.

Yes but player one will still have better weapons than player two. They will have coins as they played before the update. That is the point of what I said.

We see many different reviews regarding the last update so we decided to clarify several points.

1. The new coin system.

There are quite a few comments that earning coins has become harder. This was done for a reason. Previously, any player could easily earn many coins, buy cool guns, and, consequently, become a very powerful warrior. Nonetheless, of course, he lacks the skills and abilities of the more experienced warriors. However, he can pit his strength against them as an equal. Is this fair at all?

We switched to a system more closely resembling RPG where each item is valuable. Where the players need to advance and improve in order to earn coins and to uncover and earn new weapons which would make them considerably more powerful!



2. Grow and uncover new guns and armor!

We saw many messages along the lines that we've removed a number of guns and that the purchased armor has disappeared.

How could you even think that we can remove them! We love our weapons as much as you do :smile:

All guns are there, but in order to uncover many of them, you need to reach the specific levels. For example, Big Boddy is available from Level 7, and the MARKSMAN only from Level 12. Now, the higher your level is, the better your guns are! ;)



The same goes for armor. The higher up you are, the better you'll be able to upgrade your armor.

We apologize that your crystal armor changed to wooden. This is due to the system change. You can be sure, however, that their properties have remained the same.



3. When will there be an update for iOS?

As everyone knows, in Google Play, errors can be corrected very quickly, and the new updated version can be presented in the store. In the Apple App Store, if the available version contains an error, we can correct it no sooner than 2 weeks! This is because correcting errors and testing takes 2-3 days, and we need to wait for 10 days until the Review Team makes a decision, and only then the corrected version becomes available in the store. For this reason, we release the iOS version only when we have complete confidence in it. We work and test it day and night to ensure everything in it is working perfectly.



We can't say for sure when the next version will come out, but we hope this will happen in the next 1-2 weeks.

I very much agree on the new coin system.
 
Being a fan of RPGs myself, I like this new system a lot more. I do, however, have a few issues and some suggestions I would like to make to fix these issues. As well as a simple suggestion in addition to these fixes.

1:as mentioned above, it is much harder to get into the game than it used to be. Members with as small of a 3-4 level advantage can have a huge advantage in lower levels. I have many suggestions to fix this. First, all lower level matches could be set to specific levels, meaning level 1 players are only against other level 1 players, level 2 players are only against level 2 players and so on. This means people still learning how to play the game aren't against people who know how to play but still lack the experience to play in higher levels. The major downside to this is that there might not be a sufficient player pool for this, meaning there might not be enough incoming players to support this system in lower levels. I say this with experience playing another game where all matches were picked from a small skill range. In lower skills this was fine, as when this was in effect the game was relatively new. However, in the higher levels of skill you could be waiting half an hour for a 2 player match, while the preffered players in a match was 8-2 teams of 4. This game dropped the system and is very popular today. This game also uses a similar weapons system to pg3d. However, this game also uses separate classes with separate strengths, something pg3d does not have. This being said I think this fix has the potential to work. Another suggestion is to base matches off of skill instead of levels. It would have similar issues to the other game mentioned above, meaning higher levels of play would potentially have wait times over 10 minutes. In addition, a system for determining skill would need to be implemented (I would recomend the ELO system) and most likely specialized for pg3d. Also, coin income could be decreased in lower levels but increased overall. Meaning coins in the first 3-5 levels would be lowered by say 50% while all coin income is increased by 50%. This would make lower levels gain coins at 75% of the current rate. Thus there is not quite the gap which currently exists in lower levels.

2:hats. Some of you may have no idea why I have a problem with the hats. Fact is I don't, I have a problem with how they balance. The crown completely outclasses the headphones and effectively makes the ruby helmet pointless. I believe the crown can stay where it is. I believe headphones and ruby helmet need to be buffed. I understand this could cause major balance issues afterwards, which is why I don't have a strong suggestion to fix it. The only suggestion I do have is to increase headphones by 5% and increase ruby helmet by 10-25%. This would allow them to be more specialized versions of the crown. I do also have a problem with winged boots and ninja tabi, but I believe this isn't as clear as the case is with the hats.

Now I mentioned I had a suggestion I wanted to tag on here. This suggestion is a mode or map with no armor allowed. I say this because I know armor heavily influences the meta. If a new mode was made where armor couldn't be used, weapons that are often overlooked may be used. This is only an idea I wanted to put on the table and I don't expect it to get anywhere.
