Are we supposed to loose all gems and coins?

I reset my phone and install pg3d again and all weapons was there but my 1400 gems and 3800 coins and 1700 grenades was gone.. Should I contact support or is this just how it works? The other times I have contacted support they didn't answer.

If it was a hard reset, the likelihood is that your data is lost. If not, then it's best that you contact support and report it immediately.

Yes it was hard reset, but the strange thing is that all weapons was still there.. But I will try support and hope they answer..
 
thats really sad to know morten, the reason why you still have all your weapons is because your data was synced with your google play account i believe but i dont think that currency counts as a matter of fact, i hope support does answer you

Yes I save with Google, but I thought that the currency also should be saved, it does that in other games I play.. I have contacted support and will update when I get an answer.. I can't use the coins on anything since I have everything in the game that cost coins, but the grenades and the gems I certainly can use.
 
Currency does not reset or get synced with your account... Its just like skins. It won't save with your Cloud or Online Storage.
 
Or it could just be a bug while trying to sync data. I doubt they're that petty to earn another quick buck.

"It's RiliSoft" And your point is what? If you're gonna say money-hungry, then yes, I can agree with you, but I doubt they're that desperate to squeeze a few bucks out of their players. Depending on how much money is spent on the game, and if the buyer can substantiate their purchase, then RiliSoft has no choice but to comply with his/her request for a rightful restoration of incomplete restoration of purchased game data or "Premiums".

Those scrubs can't earn hardly anything, so they do every quick scam they can to squeeze a few dollars out of us. But I guess that's business, huh?
There are tons of variables that come into play when hard-resetting your phone. And what you're claiming are just allegations that don't have any concrete evidence backing it up.

OK thanks, that is good to know.. In other games likes MCoC the currency is being synced using Google, so I thought that it was the same with this game.

Yup I have tried several times, without luck though.
 
Pretentious huh? I won't lie I had to google a few of those words you used, but anyways yeah my point is they are money hungry, and just like anything they'll keep rising up to that position. And you do know Google Play keeps track over those in app purchases right? In fact I get an email every time I buy something. So I wouldn't doubt Rilisoft keeps track of those purchases as well. Also they do have a choice to, it's THEIR game, we're pretty much ATM machines to them, and maybe I'm a hypocrite because I keep on playing, but it isn't right, what is last placed on your account should be there if you re-sync your data.

First off, I DO know that Google Play tracks an in-game app's purchases by sending customers 'proof of transactions' via Email; same goes for Apple's AppStore and iTunes, which is why is said that

. Because obviously if the player can prove(Happy that I simplified 'substantiate', now?) that they bought gems, coins, etc., then they can rightfully uses this 'proof of transaction' to get their items back. Which leads us to your next statement with

You see, when something involves money and said person doesn't get what they paid for, then that said person can ask for a refund or a restoration of said items that they paid for. As I said before, if the buyer can prove their purchase, by showing their Email/proof of purchase'; then they have the right to either a.)Get a Refund or B.)Get their 'Premiums' restored. If that provider(In this case, RiliSoft) refuses to refund the customer(Morten Hoy), then the customer has the right to take legal action against the provider depending on the in-Game items he's missing that is equal to IRL Monetary Value. RiliSoft knows this, and would be stupid and a bad business move to ignore Morten Hoy's demand for refund or restoration.

what is last placed on your account should be there if you re-sync your data.
. The "Re-Sync" button found in the options menu of Pixel Gun 3D uses Google Play as a medium to restore data, so shouldn't Google Play be blamed for not properly syncing the game data to Morten Hoy's account? :joycat:
 
Why the hell do you keep running around in circles on yourself? Anyways, it's not a bad business move at all, they don't refuse if they DON'T even reply to report tickets. Also you got what you paid for, but when you reset it voids that, meaning you're s c r e w e d. If you're dumb enough to take legal action, then they can prove you got what you paid for but ON YOUR OWN TERMS reset. Those scumbags thought this out you know?
I'll be honest, you make very good points. You are also right about them being money hungry, BUT I doubt they're that LOW by trying to remove currency when trying to reset your device. Besides, I doubt they thought this out good. What kind of game developers would think of resetting a customers game currency when they hard-reset their device? What are they even trying get out of this? More money? I know for sure I'm not spending anymore money if they refuse to give me a refund of what I'm paying for. You're a critical thinker, but you're looking at one side of the road rather than looking at both sides. Besides, like I said about my two previous posts; there could be other variables attributing to the loss of game data. We mobile gamers experience data loss after trying to sync data by either redownloading an old game or syncing data to another device.
 
Still no answer from rilisoft..but I tried to do the same on my regular account, I have a private and a "firm" account I use when testing games, and the difference is that the gems and coins from my firm account is from daily gifts when I spend almost 900 gems to get the Golden friend and candy thing, and I lost them. When I did it with my private account where the coins and gems are directly from purchase, I still had them so maybe it is a bug or something.. But despite you two do not totally agree with each other, you both have good input.
