Should Rilisoft add more throwable items?

Grenades are the only throwable items in the game? Seriously? RILISOFT, ADD MORE THROWABLE ITEMS!
Here's some suggestions:
Flashbang
Smoke bomb
Stun grenade
Molotov
Ketchup (wat)
Mustard (wat)
Mayonnaise (wat)
 
Yeah RiliSoft. Add impact bombs please! I have been daydreaming about it for days!

The IB is different. Unlike the two mentioned weapons that explode upon PLAYER IMPACT only, the Impact Bomb explode when it touches the ground, a player, a wall, a ceiling, etc. Also, the Impact Bomb has no timer.

Wouldn't that be OP.. And clutter the UI even more?
 
If they did add more throwable grenades, I'd suggest mimicking Brutal Doom's grenade throwing speed, because COD's is way too slow, but on the same topic of COD, cooking grenades would be nice too. What would also be nice... extensive hit boxes. Like hitboxes for throwables. Shooting them in air, making them go in different directions, and also making them explode when they get to a certain health. Would also be nice if they applied that to rockets. Haven't dared to apply to my BD sub mod, because it would cause a lot of imbalance in the game I mod myself.

Should also add "fragmentation"/"Shrapnel" bombs too...

Wouldn't the Frag Grenades be Shrapnel Grenades as they deal area damage. And the most lethal paty of a grenade is the fragments...
 
That's why we need the fragment part. Simply frag grenades in a lot of FPS games don't frag. Now balance wise, instead of making it a grenade,

This mod for GZDoom uses shrapnel for it's auto shotgun, and it consumes 2 shells per shrapnel shot, plus additional pumping. Maybe an alternate fire for the Predator?
Well, Grenades, you cant really see the shrapnel... Besides, grenades ingame already deal area damage and is a 1 hit kill, like a shrapnel grenade... Also the Predator idea... That would be a pain to code, and be OP AF

IDK if Rilisoft sticks with the crappy Minecraft styled health bar, but if they're still sticking with it, just why... IT SUCKS. Because some simple attack can do one point of damage. That's already OP. That's like taking 10% of health away. Making like bars that indicate health and armor would be nice, and would fit well with the idea of shrapnel.

Now about the shrapnel idea, maybe make it do 3 points of health/armor, and if you've been hit by the user's shrapnel, the other particles won't do any damage. That way, IVAN can clear out many infidels but still needs spam fire button (engrish lol).

EIDT: Also in a lot of games too, there isn't shrapnel at all. It's just the explosion radius and that's it for the frag grenades. Plus the grenades in game aren't a 1 hit kill for me kek. If you stand like 5 meters from the grenade, then yeah, it does a buttload of damage.

Yeah, I get the unnecessary lag part. And "Kid-Friendly"? THE HECK? OUR GENERATION NEEDS TO PROGRESS WITHIN THE DIMENSIONS OF THEIR EDUCATION, ESPECIALLY THE MATH PORTION OF IT. Numbers are something they need to adapt to and get adjusted to. I mean, it would be nice if they kinda made an option to toggle the kind of HUD for health and armor. But on default, ofc it's going to stick with the "Kid-Friendly" one. If they did stick with the numbers idea, that means I would be like, make the shrapnel at least do 1% of damage, and affect the whole player. That would mean reworking right? Yes, and will it take time? Yes, everything takes time, and I can see you don't favor waiting too long for a grand update. It took me a while to make my submod IB, and now look at it, it's packed with insanity and brutality, and swig. Some people were like, it's worth waiting for it, others were like, god, I wished he released this earlier.

Also I stated it would do 3 points of damage, because OFC having each particle do 1 point of damage would mean, MAKE THE WHOLE SHRAPNEL EFFECT DESTROY THE WHOLE PLAYER, now that's more OP. That would ruin CQB legit, and I get no fun using bullets when one person uses bouncy shrapnel in my face and kills me with one shot. Maybe the same damage as the Pixel Gun for each particle, but if hit by it once, the rest of it does't affect you.

Which is why I strongly stay with the idea of numbers and a bar for armor and health. That way, each weapon doesn't do or look like it does "10%" of damage exactly. Of course, the idea of switching your display for health and armor would be nice too. But then if you're wondering, if the people who stick with the "kid-friendly" health display find that they're taking damage and their health isn't dropping, what does that mean mah boi? We've had this problem for a while now, I'm pretty sure it won't be fixed. Adding an alternate kind of health and armor display could help a majority of the time. They see numbers and the bar go down, they know they're doomed.
