What has Rilisoft done for us?

Well, ever since Rilisoft has joined the forums, they have made a suggestions thread in what we want in future updates. I'm not sure if any of you have realised this, but they have actually met many requests from members, whether it be for the better or worse. Rilisoft genuanally cares for its players. So, I decided to scroll through the first 10 pages of the thread in order to show you what they have done for us. Each of these are quoted from posts in the thread itself.
"My suggestion would be to enable further control customization. Not all of us on tablets have such small hands, so I would like it if we had the option to resize buttons and the joystick as well." -Bronzium

"Map suggestion = Can u make some Christmas or Halloween Easter Special Maps?" -MarkMidorima

"Bring back the swipe button...clan rankings..." -Brimey

"nerf the wand, the crossbow and the bow" -FeeshBBU

"I miss the old skin creator song ._." (Pretty sure they re-added it) -Pixelgamer

"If a halloween update rolls out, people would go crazy if a s'ydderF ta sthgiN eviF came out (read backwards)" -Hubbawubba64

"It would be cool if you could ad some recording software into the game so we can record while playing" (Everyplay) -lbsthegamerMC

"-The shotguns are super crappy. Why would you make it fire a slug rather than just make it spray?!" (New shotgun mechanics added) -Sgt.Doomguy5th

"I would love sort of an alert thing of what you died from. Like when you die, insted of

it should say
*goldman0102 was killed with a Fire Bow by Goldman27
Makes it so that you know how you died, and I could prevent spamming my crossbow al over the place" -goldman0102

"Oh, how about a killstreak system and/or killcams?" -Sgt.Doomguy5th

I think Rilisoft has done an excellent job with the game, especially meeting the needs of the players. Great job @RiliSoft and I hope that you can continue with your excellent work!

All these were added, and I appreciate it. However, Rilisoft isn't always online, and thus, some good suggestions get buried within others.

They are pretty busy out side of the forums. But I agree, Rilisoft should come on just a bit more to see what's up.

This will likely happen once they partner up with the forums and it becomes official. That is their next step in getting closer to the community.

I don't blame them, they cannot always be on. And some suggestions are too long to post while they are online.

Yes, all of those requests were included and the entire community is greatly appreciative of Rilisoft's decision to help include them, since they enhanced the gameplay for everyone.

However, much hate for Rili$oft stems from their inclusion of Gems as a currency and their prioritization of spending customers. That is the problem that many forum members find inexcusable.

Now, that doesn't go without saying that Rilisoft (the Dev Member) is truly magnificent fellow and without him, we all wouldn't be where we are at the moment, in terms of app development. He is the middle man that we can't live without.

We just wish there'd be less prioritization on increasing the arsenal of "Premium" Players and a lot more input into decisions from the fan base.

If you feel negatively about this game then don't play it. Don't come to us complaining about what is bad about it. We don't need to hear your ramblings. If you were in Rilisoft's position, you wouldn't be able to accomplish what they have been able to do with a FREE game. Since you didn't pay for the game, then there are going to be some obvious you will miss out on.

So quit whining on this thread.

Also no, I did not request to partner with Rilisoft. It was likely to have been done by VashX, I was only stating the facts.

I'm pretty sure all of those suggestions were ignored by some of us, until Vetrix decided to bring up some of the community's ideas.
It just proves that they've been actually listening to us, and that all of us have been pretty selfish. If you read those suggestions, then you would see that these suggestions barely altered gameplay, and even tried to balance out a few things. Some of us only see, what we want to see. Some people even act like they paid a lump sum for the game, even though they didn't even spend a single cent.
Money is money! It's cold hard cash. People work for it. And if they decide to spend 99 Bucks on the game, then let them. It's not your money, it's Theirs. Besides, I think it's pretty fair. Let those people roll in their fantasies. Let them enjoy on the money they spent.
Also, you people blame RiliSoft, because of hackers. Hackers are the community's problem. Not theirs. Hackers are hackers, and there's always bound to be hackers in every game you play.
Besides, all we see now is more beration at them. Things like "Ruined a great game" and "RiliCrap" are the things I've seen being hurled at them. Who are you people, to say that? You people are the one's who've decided to play the game. If you think the game is "beyond repair", then go find another game. It's as simple as that.

Your point relating to how Rilisoft deserves credit for listening to many of the suggestions provided and actually implementing them into the game is quite valid. I must say though that this is almost as much of a problem as it is anything else. The fact that we do not have a way to gather a consensus of opinions on any ideas suggested means that some are bound to fail, either because it was not thought out properly or because it was a sound idea in theory but turned out to be detrimental to the game when implemented. As a result of this, Rilisoft has come under scrutiny for following the advice of one or two members with certain ideas that are now consistently criticised by other members here on this forum. Rilisoft does not deserve criticism for the failures of some of these ideas, instead they deserve credit for having trusted us initially. Having said that, since the introduction of the gem system, Rilisoft has appeared reluctant to engage with the community, perhaps for good reason, though this has brought about more frustration from the community as it appears as though they are avoiding any attempt to fix the issues in the game. I can understand why Rilisoft may want to protect the gem system, at the same time though, they must understand that there are ways in which the community can contribute ideas which can make the game more enjoyable and profitable, however it is up to them to engage with the community and devise a way to gauge interest in suggested ideas and filter those ideas which may not be as successful as first thought. In this way we can maintain a relationship focussed on improving the game for both parties.

I agree with this thread. Rilisoft has done the ideas the community thought of and added them to the game. The rants and complaints about the game. Yes some weapons are overpowered but that's how the game is. You can't change that. The ideas were thought by one person or people. The game continues to develop from its community. Like the map scary pizzeria. Although there are cons to the game from ideas like the laser minigun and others. It still tries and listens to the whole fan base and thinks what's best for the game. The developers can't just all decide on one biased opinion. The game can't be perfect as it still is being developed to make everyone enjoy it in the long run. As here this is my honest opinion, I liked it before the armour came out. Unfortunately no one can change it besides Rilisoft.
 
Very good point, indeed. The primary weapon lag was one of the most important; I was able to destroy highly armoured people. (And today, I'm also destroying RAP's 24/7).
 
To share my opinion, the game is very intense, and amazing, but it needed to go and no stay the same forever, it was gonna die eventually without changes. The changes offer play style and creativity, new meta game and reduced the dater population. You guys all wanted daters to be gone like me, this is what you wanted? Basically yes, they granted your wish for less daters, now its like all you do is complain, just go with the meta and have fun.

I'm pretty sure developers should treat each part of the community equally.
 
I will not be waiting for any further response in regards to this matter. All 3 of you have been granted warning points for starting a flame war in some manner on here (though fuzzypeach was probably the one who most deserved it).

I have no issue with two people discussing opinions and politely talking about them, but when it comes to slandering a user for the amount of time they have played the game, that draws it more into a flame war than a discussion at that point. The fact you carried this on for nearly an entire page worth of posts is what impresses me.

I will not have any further discussion of the topic that caused your flame war, given how a majority of your posts would be deemed "off-topic" in regards to the actual thread and thereby be deleted.

I am willing to let this pass however. If the other Moderators have any objections, they may do whatever they want in regards to how the thread gets sorted out later on.
 
Look, I'm on Rilisoft's side now. Even though there have been many bad things (like turrets, mechs and jetpacks), we should still appreciate Rilisoft's hard work because PG3D wouldn't even exist if it were not for Rilisoft.
