So I'm sure everyone of you have played at least 1 match of Deadly Games. Alot of times I have witnessed people fail cause they have one of these 2 thoughts in their head,"Run and hide!" Or,"I gotta kill everyone!" Both of these methods are a horrible approach, but don't worry, its why I made the guide ;)

Part 1.
Preparation before the game.

Despite this not actually being in the games,it is the most crucial part in order to win, never rush in blind with no plan.

Turn off music-

this may seem a little odd, but in Deadly Games, the SFX sound is what keeps you alive. Music is the loudest part of deadly games and the most fatal. Without music you can hear foot steps and even jumps! Just beware of shotguns, they are the LOUDEST and most abrupt death, try not to be sneak attacked by those.

Choosing the right skin- I've sure many of you have heard this before, but it will save your skin more than once. (Did yah see the pun there? :tongueout:) Anyways, it all depends on your play style, if you hide in trees then wear dark green skins. If you move along a mountainous terrain then use light grey freckled with dark grey. An example of a dark (but not very good or perfect, just a all rounder) is presented below

-coming soon when I learn how to upload images-

Finding a match-

The bad thing about Deadly Games is that it may be hard to find a match. Do not use the quick search (the go button on the bottom right). Instead you will have use the custom search cause of the low amount of players. Do not join maps in parallel world, night battlefield, or Swamp. Try to find one that is Afternoon Battlefield or Deadly Complex, swamp is the smallest map, parallel is the most confusing and dangerous, and Night Battlefield is just plain out black. Join only servers with 3 or more players.

Part 2. The Bloodbath

Well, now that you are all set with your customized skin and volume, its time to begin the Games. For your first time, just try not to get knifed, its just horrible

Viewing the participants-

Before the match, there is 30 seconds where you can view the player's name and rank, make assumptions from this, for example-

Will this level 26 player have ruby armor?

Will this player use mechs?

*Note* Despite common belief, never go for the highest ranking player first, its just dum

The 10 seconds before GO-

Look around you. Were your assumptions correct? How tough do you think they are? Examine each player closely, but don't stare too long. If you notice a player looking right at you for the whole time, they are gonna knife you after the countdown. Either jump up with ninja tabi and steal their chest, or run backwards and hope for the best...

Escaping Spawn-So you managed to get your gun, now the main priority is getting more guns. If someone decides to shoot at you and take you out first, just run and run, they will run out of ammo rather quickly

How to use your weapon-

Deadly Games rely alot on luck, you never know what's gonna come out of that chest, just know how to use it...

Combat Rifle- The most best outcome you can get, 4x zoom and a fast rof and dmg, beware the speed you move at while holding it though. When using this snipe your enemy, never approach.

Pistol Gun- Great, what are you gonna do with this thing?! Your main priority now is finding a bonus chest, although this is extremely OP in the right hands, lets go for something with a bit more rof

Sniper Rifle- Well, its better than most! I recommend doing what this gun is made for, sniping. This is extremely good on maps like Afternoon Battle Field cause you can snipe the nubs on the giant rock (explained later)

Alien Gun- Oh my noes! This is worse than the pixel gun! It has a glow in the dark effect which makes you so easy to see! Don't even attempt fighting with it!

Best Friend-Not bad, its gonna be your "best friend" in these games. It makes low sound and has a very high rof with balanced damage. This is where you go commando and sneak up and do all that stealth...yeah

Uzi Uzi- Pretty darn good! The Uzi Uzi has the fastest speed and fire rate, the spread is intense though and it drains ammo like crazy. Not half bad just don't shoot like a madman

Double Trouble- uh oh! You'll make alot of trouble with this gun. It has incredibly high sound and can fire 2 shots in a little amount of time. Despite armor this is incredibly OP since they fire spread instead of slugs. When engaging in combat, always go for head shots and beware the low capacity! (best on maps like Deadly Complex)

Simple Shotgun- Simple enough, this is probably one of the best you can get. It has a 7 clip with a moderate fire rate, I recommend just shooting away when in close combat (again best for maps like Deadly Complex)

Ak-47- I consider this second best weapon in Deadly Games, it has a higher mobility than combat knife and you can shoot pretty far with good accuracy. With this gun you can do some damage!

Machine Gun- Meh, its a okay weapon. When you get this from a start chest IMMEDIATELY switch back to your combat knife, you can barely move with this and barely dodge gunfire. When in combat, straif from left to right and back again and don't stop shooting

If I forgot any please tell me

Part 3. Halfway through the Games

Well, you've made it through the beginning haven't you? After start its where the real pressure begins. It's a mad scramble for chests and not getting ambushed. What will you do?

Do not hide- Don't EVER hide in Deadly Games. It will get you trapped in combat, and what will you do when its the last rival left? You will have only the gun you got from the chest with just 3 mags

Don't fight unless necessary-

Do not go picking out your fights. Sure that level 22 wooden armor guy with a combat knife looks weak, but he could be hiding a combat rifle. Avoid fights till the last rival.

Finding chests-

chests are very easy to find, alot of times they can be found along the edge of the map.
Memorize each place they spawn and how to get to it.
Don't go there instantly, they take time to spawn.

Using the environment- *credit to DeKabuki

In Deadly Games, the environment will be your best friend, and worst enemy. Do NOT go to very high places. Due to the physics of Pixel Gun, your figure will be seen from afar even if they are far away. Be careful when in high places, if you can find one that has cover, just be cautious, players may always be close by. You can even lure your enemy by firing off your gun. First, always find reasonable cover. Fire off a gun, possibly in their direction, maybe at a nearby tree so the bullet can be traced(shotgun recommended) and wait for them to come. Be careful not to fire it too much, you'll need the ammo for the battle. Again, if you can, try to avoid the fight. But sometimes a rule has to be broken.

Take EVERY gun you see-

It's time to be geared from skin to teeth. It doesn't matter if that Best Friend will take up your Combat rifle's spot, go to the shop and switch it back. Your enemy could get it if you don't, and make your life harder...

Surviving the mech buyers-

That's right, sometimes people are so horrible they buy mechs and jetpack and all that rich stuff. Just comepletly avoid them, if you see a mech on the ground coming at you and there is no escape, just do your best and admit defeat. Alot of times they will be using a jetpack+mech and sometimes invisibility potions, so you wont often encounter them on the ground. If you see these,TAKE COVER ASAP. They will not look in houses, use that to your advantage. Also, tell other players that there is a mech on the loose, its just unfair to buy mechs.

The Final Battle- Well you made it to the end, its the last rival left, what now? My first rule is never ever talk to him or her, give them that queasy feeling of watchfulness.

The Mine Glitch- I have seen lots of people do this while on spectating. What they do is they go do some stuff around the waterfall and they glitch in blocks, to their left they can see inside the mine. Never go to the mines when they say to, just stay quiet...

If they say go to spawn-This is the downfall of many DG players. They go run up on arch and try to shoot you on spawn. Just say ok and move to the left or right side of the big rock arch and watch that rival climb up it to snipe you down cause you said you were at spawn. I've seen so many deadly games players fall for this, just don't.

Killing the rival-

This is the toughest part of the Games. The other rival is most likely skilled and armed. Shotguns are the best for this combat. All ways try to ambush them. Sniping works best. If they do not say go to spawn or mine then they really are pro, run around the map, collect chests, and even use gun drops as bait (trust me its happened) If you are taken by surprise and are still alive, run diagonally and then turn around and shoot.

You Won The Match- Congrats! You have won your first deadly games! Usually you are only rewarded with 2 coins and 2 exp, but hey it was fun! Be careful next

though, alot of players might play the same match as you again, and wont be happy for the last time you shrekt them!

*Authors Notes* Many parts are still under construction, will have them done tommorow

Impressive guide. Though the only part I disagree with is targeting the highest level/toughest player. I usually target them first since they can prove to be quite a threat. If you do target a high level player, know what your doing and plan ahead.
If there are more than two players of the same skill/level/durability, you must use that to your advantage and let the finish off one another. If you are still alive by the time the last one remains, you must finish em' off while they're weakened as you try avoiding death at the same time.

Here's a little tip that comes from me: Use the environment as your advantage. It can provide you a world of good and can even illude players at most points (sometimes death if you play on either Swamp or Complex). Try luring a player into falling lasers, stay midsection of the tall trees instead of on top, by any means confuse the enemy.

Ah, thanks for the tip, I might add it with credit to your name!

As for the going for the highest ranked player first, I have found it gets harder as deadly games progresses, if you don't put 5 bullets in them then your screwed. I might change that little note I made in the guide just to tweak it to let the player decide if they want to go after the highest ranking player or not, as they are well prepared

@Agent Ohio

Rambo is a really survivalist guy kindve that you see doing all the command and fighting stuff in the movies

Very good. 11/10
Well, there is room for improvement. I need a little help here:
If you can't see the last rival who is left, do you stay put or do you walk around hoping for the best?

You can also include random scenarios and what should you do when you are encountering a random scenario. Plus, you need to fix the gun names. Some of them does not sound and look like the real names in PG3D. Here :
Pistol Gun = Pixel Gun
Machine Gun = Heavy Machine Gun (not so sure here)
Combat Rifle = Army Rifle

Sorry I made this at 11:00 at night and I just put the names I could remember.( The army rifle got combat rifle's name cause it was the only thing I could think of.)

As for if you can't see the last rival, run around the edge of the map and farm chests, if he mentions any place, don't go to it but watch the places around it

This is a very good guide and I am going to implement this into my strategies when my pixel gun works
A tip you may want to add that is if you get quick enough you can start quicker than one of the players next you taking their chest and getting yours so you can have 2 chances of a better gun

But since the update that removes armor (still allows armor to be collected or regen from cape) it makes it hard to stay in spawn long as you can get 1 shotted by alot of guns
