Goldman27 privately chats about new authority for some members

image.jpg image.jpg Beware: So there you have it someone's plotting against me, surprised that it would be a Moderator but still. I'm crazy with concern right now!
Meanwhile in the shout box: Basically the arguement goes like this, Goldman27 and that other dude reason with each other on why they think some forum members should be granted more access to punishments to deal with people who are "rebellious" he makes claims about a kind of underground governing system that had already been created. I could only guess it was a member based governing system that operated behind moderators backs. To my surprise he says it to the moderator. I give looks of disagreement and start arguing like my natural self would. The moderator seeing me watching in disagreement says that they should talk privately about there "plans" where no one else could see them speak( because I was there apparently ). And now I'm assuming that they're also talking about how to get rid of members (including me) secretly and some kind of new government that mixes tattletales and higher authority. Better not question anything because with my experience, talking to these chaps makes me believe I've committed capital crime in the forums. Look out gamers, your opinions aren't really desired or deserved. Now talk to them knowing you might be banned if you don't "watch your mouth".
image.jpgSo here is what Goldman posted about mini-moderators for those of you who need to be re-educated. I don't know if he considers it, but what i do know was that when he wrote it he was sided with me because he wrote it based on the flame war that occurred on my thread.

Here is my view.. Bringing higher authority onto the forums secures the forum's security from any trolls or people trying to bring down the forum's with them.
The reason why they did a private conversation is someone can EASILY watch what they talk about.
Plus if you have not noticed already the forums is falling apart because of trolls making members leave in a pissy way.
What do you mean opinons aren't allowed on the forums?
Just let you understand.
 
I honestly think that us members have ALL the authority we can handle without turning these forums into mini-modder's paradise. Giving us more power would most likely lead to disaster. But to TheRudeWolf's defense, the only "huge underground governing system" I can see him really setting up is a mass attack on daters. And arguing against Goldman27 isn't the wisest of choices, he is one of the most wisest and logical members on the forums, and he has quite a bit of authority here too, so I don't think he would misuse that authority and figure something out without directions from V or telling the other moderators about his plan.
 
How amusing to see you try to make this some sort of Government Conspiracy Crap, Which I applaud you for sir. Now the way I see this is that, Rude and Goldman discuss what errors each members has created. Seeing as this should be kept in private is a reasonable way of protecting a members reputation. Seeing you post this thread is just your way of ruining their reputation. It is obvious that you and people like you don't respect Rules and Authority, this prompts them to create such things. It irks me to still see you in these forums, in my perspective, it's pretty useless to stay somewhere, where you intend to start fights. I'm
surprised that you aren't even banned yet. Now Goodbye and Good Day Sir!

In all seriousness and I'll keep this short, this whole underground shindig is actually just a prevention group with a fancy name for people who jump aboard the Danny Cronin/Pie4Lyfe train to Ban Town. Honestly, like all conspiracies, the truth is actually more boring than the conspiracy.
 
Lols Hero, I didn't mean it like that:smile: anyway, the whole things, It's an honest opinion about events only occurring between three people in the shout box. Me, TheRudeWolf, and Goldman27. What I'm saying is if I all of a sudden get banned and no ones there to see it, here's what you'll have so keep it deer when more crap goes down. Apparently I'm like the never ending flame of the forum and honestly im not doing anything. People will act a lot like I did though because that many people disagree with me and or hate me. Now there was a acronym for this other group that the RudeWolf was explaining before, does anyone know what it means? I think it's like the NHW or something like that

Guess it's not a really the democracy I had imagined. Hmmm well someone needed to question flaming and its hidden motives. I'm on fire here aren't I-

Oh. That's the Neighbourhood Watch. It's basically a group of users who report incidents, they're the types who don't nag on threads and instead just press the report button. Moderators don't have a public shaming system, we don't announce that you've been banned, but generally, users are aware of who's who that gets banned (because their posts vanish).

Although, I normally announce who gets warned/banned on Shoutbox. To be dreadfully honest, most users in this forum don't really like you and wouldn't find your disappearance horrible (not one bit), but despite that, I strive to be neutral, fair and just, in contrast to, the general opinion with regards to you. On that note, I'll also have to inform you that you have 2 warnings for your previous incident and I'm going to give you a verbal request to refrain from double posting or that warning will go up another number. (Be aware that 3 warnings = Ban)

No forum is a democracy. In every ToS or EULA of every forum before you register, you acknowledge that using someone's forum is a privilege and not a right and that you will abide the instructions of the forum staff at all times. Matter-of-fact, what you're doing right now could be classified as a personal attack, public defamation and discussing administrative actions all of which are violations which would get you banned.

I suggest just confronting the moderator you are having issues with and speaking to them respectfully through PM, rather than making such a scene and attracting even more flak from the community (since GoldMan is a perceived by many as a respected figure in the forum). Or you could just PM me and add him to the conversation or just ask me to speak to him.

Okay, so let me get this straight... I've been the only moderator in the team actively defending and justifying your actions and the way you thank me is saying I've got a gun to your head.

God, I love my job! XD
